Lost child

She was only 4 or 5 months old when she was taken home.
She never knew where she came from.
She was a 'business transaction'.

So if she was about 4 to 5 months old when she finally have somewhere to call home and people to love, and her birthdate ain't real like is stated on the birth cert, then when is it?
Can someone please tell her when is her birthday?

Whats in store for us in the year of the RAT?

Just put my son to bed for his nap. He always take naps after bathtime. Only sometimes, he decides that he wants to join in the fun with others other than his parents then only he will fight to stay awake. I myself is fighting sleep too because I know if I sleep now, I would not be able to sleep tonight. American Idol is on at the moment and its such a wonder how i am typing this post at the computer table and my head turned towards the TV. Of course my the spelling is not all these perfect as from time to time i will turn my head back to check on it but ya, basically now my head is turned towards the TV and I have no idea what alphabets i am typing. Just trusting my memory on the keyboards where the ABCs are...

Know what? I have not done any CNY clothes shopping and I don't think I am going to do any. Why? Because I just spent a whole chunk of money on having my eyes checked and getting myself spectacles. Can't wear contact lens all the time can I? *sigh* Now that Hubby and I have Jaden, there are a lot of things to take into consideration and money is not spent without a lot of thinking like "Do I really need this?" "Will this be really worth my money?" I mean if we don't need some things, we will just not get it. Rather save for rainy weathers.. When you have a child, I guess your mind is just on the child's wellbeing.

Its the year of the RAT this year. Hmm.. wonder what it means to me as a PIG?

Chinese Horoscope predictions
For people who are born in the year of the Pig, the Rabbit, and the Goat, the Rat year will bring “Flower of Romance” so one can anticipate a more sociable year with more opportunity to develop friendship with the opposite sex...

If I were still single, I prolly look forward to the "developing friendship with the opposite sex" but too bad, I am married and taken so well.. good luck to all my other single PIG friends then. If this prediction is true, then I hope kai-ma gets her dream come true when she goes Cambodia. I am still against the idea of her going tho.. bad girl don't want to listen to me, what to do?

Found out something about Hubby. He thought he was a SHEEP all these while but noo.. his birthdate indicates that he is actually a HORSEY! Reading this makes it sound so true about him..

Enough about horoscopes.. its time for some Jaden's picture galore again :-

Jaden works...

Been out and about these few days, making trips to and fro PJ and KL, bringing my son with me. Yea, such a small boy and hes already working. His job scope = to sit and behave like an angel in the car while mummy drives. Occasionally will doze off and smile at people. He gets wages from daddy for working.Bagus kan?

I can't wait to lay my hands on JUNO (DVD). Its supposed to be a good story. Her pregnancy seemed real, with the belly button sticking out so yea, with all the pregnancy hoo-haas going on, it got me excited to want to watch this movie.

Chinese New Year is near. Somehow this year, I am not really anticipating it as much as before. Maybe its because I don't get to celebrate it the way I used to. Back to Perlis and all.. but it will be my very first tho, to celebrate with my very own family. When Jaden grows a little older, maybe next year, I shall take him back with me to my hometown to celebrate it with my cousins.. if the father allows. If not, I'd also take him back laa! Taking your son to your own hometown away from the father for a few days is not counted as kidnapping right? A mother has every right to bring her son right? Right?

Its been really hot in the afternoons and then rain cats and dogs in the evening. This weather has been making a lot of people fall sick and most of my friends have the same sickness as I did. *sigh* It is granted that no matter what day or month, just be it CNY, the weather will just turn really hot! My house is feeling like an oven. Going to hide myself in my fridge (room) now..

He is 4 months old today!

Jaden is 4 months old today!
Can't believe it...
It was as if it was a Friday morning, Hubby waking me up early to bathe and wash my hair thoroughly because that will be the last I wash my hair till like 3 weeks later...
Having a roti telur before heading to the medical centre to admit myself.
Doctor broke my water bag and something was stuffed up my ass to make me clean my bowels completely.
Put on IV Drip to hasten contractions... got my very first epidural.
Joked and talked and attempted to watch movie with Joy in the labor room.
Have her and Hubby to massage my feet and move it about tho I could no longer feel anything from waist below...
and pop comes the baby...
*sigh* maybe somethings aren't meant to be forgettable..

Friends over

Last night Hubby went for Thevi's wedding. It was a garden reception. Something different from the norm we Malaysians always do -ballrooms or restaurants. Hubby told me they even had police escorts. Guess it will be something to remember for the rest of her life. Sweet sweet Stuart to see to it, making his bride the happiest woman on earth last night. Saw some photos from Josie's camera. Thevi looked so pretty in her red sari.. *sigh* another couple happily married..

Jaden has got lots of visitors last night. Such a happy baby.

Kai-ma came over and played with him. Read him stories, which he enjoyed and rewarded his kai-ma with his toothless smiles. Its almost a month since kai-ma came over to see her boy. She says that Jaden is now starting to look like his father. Hmm..

Carrie, Meu Yan and Jojie also came over last night. Real late but the little boy was not sleeping yet so guess it was okay. Anyway, I think he loves his guests. The girls were dropping hubby home and they came up to see Jaden. Carrie and Meu Yan has yet to see the little boy and their first reply to Hubby's question was "He looks like his mother!" Hubby still thinks Jaden has got my looks. The masculine version of me. *sigh* What if he looks like me or Hubby? He is still our son right?

Jaden was so happy to see the girls and his father of course. Think he misses his father. Jaden got lots to talk to his father. He just kept babbling and cooing and smiling and playing. Think he finally fell asleep at about 330am. Naughty boy was trying to fight sleep although his eyes were already half-shut. Well, lets just say the little boy slept from 330am till 9am today for his feed, then at 11am and then 130pm.

Just gave him a leg and tummy massage and hes fast asleep again. His nap time. As soon as he wakes up, will be giving him his bath. He loves the water. Loves kicking his legs, splashing the water.. if he only knew when he was about 3-4 days old, he hated the water. Scared of it, screaming his head off each time we wanted to bathe him and today, he just can't wait to get into his bathtub!

Kefentse is going to be in Kl in Feb! Can't wait to meet up with him. FYI, hes from Botswana and is one of my favourite Botswana friend. A very smart, polite and gentle guy. Erm.. like BFG in a way. Anyway, I hope we all could meet up for dinner.. told Joy to get herself ready for his arrival. You never know if he might take her back as his bride! hahahahaha =) Now that Kefentse will be in Malaysia, wonder when Kemiso will be coming. I missed that girl too. I remember us Malaysians teaching them Botswanians Malay for the first time. They asked us how to say "How are you?" and we told them the translation -"Saya perogol bersiri!" Mean right? ahahhahahhahahahha They didn't believe us anyway. Smart smart!

Oritey, my boy is awake now. Time to prepare bath water and play mommy!
ciaoz~

Sleeping child

My son is sleeping out in the living room right now as I am typing this post. Waiting for his kai-ma to come over to play with him. *sigh* got to get ready his bath soon as not to bath him too late just in case he gets confused again and then cry non stop. His father is not here to calm him down at the moment and that is bad bad news to the mother. Took him for his second class of massage yesterday and boy! Did he really sleep when he came home after the massage but maybe it was because it was memang his sleeping time. FYI, my boy sleeps real late like 2am - 3am and then is only fully awake at 230pm onwards, followed by short naps.. What a wonderful life right? To be able to sleep like that and wake up to eat and play and then sleep again. But then, hes only a baby and he should have every right to enjoy what he does at the moment. Life is short! He will soon be all grown up, having to worry about homework / school / peers / exams and then girls.. and then work.. I wished I was back in his shoes again because I know I did really enjoy my childhood tremendously!

Dripped! AGAIN!

The freaking f**king aircon started dripping again and its only been two months since we last had it repaired. Wondered what could be the problem this time? The weather? Too hot? Aarrgghh.. its making me depress!!! Who wants to sponsor me a new aircon? FREAKING LG AIRCON that can't even last 5 years.. my mom's National aircon is more than 10 years and is still working fine! Is there anything done by LG that will lasts? AArrgghh!!! I wanna make a complain to LG soon...

and the best thing is that I have a son that cannot take the heat.. poor boy could not get a good night sleep because of it and me too!!! Got to see to the problem!

FU*K!

Shocking news!

Heath Ledger is dead. 1979-2008
That was the first news I heard when I turned on my TV. I actually thought it was a joke or like some promo to make a movie he acted in a hit but no.. its true! Heath Ledger is found dead in his NY apartment.

I have not been posting up lately -not as late as Joy or Jojie but I have my reasons. I was feeling really down that I was running low on milk supply. Of late, I just wasn't making enough. Might be due to me not feeling well and then all tensed up over if my baby will be affected but well, could not take it any longer so I asked Hubby to let me see a lactation consultant. I need some consultation to bring my milk back!

So off we went to see the lactation consultant on Monday evening. She borrowed me her electrical breast pump to stimulate the other side to bring it working back. Hopefully it will work because if not, I am going to have the big small breasts till Jaden weaned off me!

and you know what? My little boy is going to go for his massage tomorrow! Yippee!! Hubby signed me and Jaden up for baby massage classes. Jaden needs them because he has to intensify his training for his neck and back support. He is a little step behind four-month-olds' development, so the massage classes are one of the best options. =)

Milk supply is slowing coming back to me. Still I have to eat more nutritious food to make more milk. So till then, I am now going to ciao off to find more food to mam! *gRin*

Don't you love me, Mr Yap?

I asked him after he pointed this out to me. (check picture below and tell me what you see...)

Scenario 1:

*hits head* Can be sucha idiot at times. Most of the time to be more accurate and that is only one of the many idiotic things I do in life...

How could I possible tie one end of my cereals up, which does not even have an opening at all, padahal the opened end is left untied.. hmm..

Scenario 2:
I wanted to wash my dishes so I turned on the tap and the conversation went like this...
"Why does the water seemed like it has no pressure?", I asked him.
He chose to ignore me
(looks down at the tap)
Oops, I didn't turn it on full blast...
*slaps head*

Don't you just love me, Mr Yap?

Last year, as we celebrated my Hubby's birthday first time together, I got my friends and his Timmy to come over and surprised him. Eddy and June was also very much involved to make it work as they lured him out of the house to yam cha to give me time to prepare the surprise back at home. Was a surprise that didn't really go as plan but still, it was all sincere and fun. The cake was melting and candle was dripping as we sang him the Birthday song. =) Yeap.. that was last year then..

This year, I wanted him to have a different type of cake. My belief for birthdays is no matter how old you are or if you do not feel like celebrating it, one should always have a birthday cake and blow the candle. Its a tradition! A must for me.. so I ordered Hubby's cake two weeks in advance. I went to collect it today.. alas, Hubby insisted that he wants to follow me out despite hints of me wanting to go and collect something on Joy's behalf. Sorry Joy, I had to use your name because you are Jaden's kai-ma and he will allow me to do anything for you.. *gRin* Anyway, Hubby believed me and he followed till I went to the house to collect the cake and I had to give him the cake in advance since the box was half covered with see-through plastic.

"SURPRISEEE!!!! Happy Birthday Baby... you were not suppose to see it till tonight.. so.." yah.. that is how the story goes la.. another surprise by me gone bad. Am bad at surprises kan?

Don't you just love me, Mr Yap?

So wanna see the cake I gave him? Here you go.. a sneak peek...

Ran out of supply.. almost

Jaden could not stop crying last night after his bath. Don't know what triggered off his mood but it was damn foul. It took a while for him to calm down, of course with the nipple in his mouth. I guess he was too tired and hungry at the same time. Poor boy! After nursing for quite some while, he fell asleep at about 1030pm. Woke up for occasional feeds an hour at a time till about 230am when he slept off till 530am and looked at hubby for entertainment. Hubby was reading at that time and Jaden woke up, wanting to play.. So me being a mother, a party pooper, what Hubby likes to call me told Jaden to mam mam and then oi oi! Well, he did oi.. but an hour later... and I was about to get up for my Sis's wedding registration.. failed gila babi sial.. coz i woke up to a throbbing headache, warm body and bad sore throat. Sms-ed my sis to told her that I won't be there anymore today and off back to slumberland for me until Jaden decided to whimper and ask for food again. Hour after hour, my breasts have also ran out of supply. Dang! So I have to do my usual trick -drink lots of milk and water.. hopefully the next feed, I will have enough to feed my hungry little boy...

One day to Hubby's birthday! Can't wait...

little better little better eMs

Feeling a tad better now. The meds are kicking in but why do I still feel like the sore throat won't go away. Realized that Doc left out the sore throat med for me. HHrruummPPhh! Now that won't leave a good impression on the doc right? To be leaving out one of the most essential med that I need. Anyway, shall just go to the pharmacy for that green color lozenges. Heard its good and safe.. so should be lah!

Been drinking lots of cool boiled or warm water now. Dare not take even a tiny sip of cold water. Thats how scared I am of not recovering. Been having porridge as my diet the whole of yesterday. The day before, wantan mee soup that tasted so bland that you wished you rather just make your own at home and save the RM3.50. Afterall it tasted like the wantan mee soaked in hot water thats all. The soup was tasteless!

Finally....

I gave up trying to go the pharmacy to purchase meds. Went straight into the clinic to have my temperature checked as I really was feeling very very under the weather. Body aches, headaches, the stupid flu and sore throat. Felt real shitty for not taking good care of myself and ended up getting sick.

So after I breastfed baby and made sure hes going to be alright for at least an hour with his father at home, I drove opposite my apartment to the clinic. The nurse that was sitting at the reception decided to help me fill in my particulars and when it came to the occupation part, I said I am a housewife. Easier kan? then to explain that I am a PR Exec and why I do not need MC if I am sick and not at work. She looked at me in surprise and said I was rather too young to be a housewife. Hmm...

Went into the doc's room and there he goes, "Heard you are the Minister of Home Affairs?" *sigh* Do you think 24 is a young age to be a housewife? Anyway, told him how sick I was and he took my temp, and voila! Confirmed my fear -I have fever.. thankfully its only slight fever at 38. Told him I was breastfeeding too.. and he asked "How old is your child?" I replied ,"four months" and then he looked at my weight and said "You did lose weight real quick didn't you?" I am 48kg now if you guys are wondering about my weight. Well, I lost 10kgs in about a week after giving birth so I guessed its a good thing. I was 45kg when I first found out about my pregnancy.. so about just 3kgs.. maybe I should just maintain it at 46kg maybe?

Got prescribed a few meds which I should religiously take to avoid further infection. I hate meds by the way. Never did like them.. NEVER! so now I am only hoping once I finish the antibiotics' course, I would be alright by then.. got a wedding registration function to look forward to this weekend... =)

Feeling under the weather

Pop two panadols last night. Bad bad sore throat. One nose stuck like nobody's business, sometimes have to breath through the mouth. Hate it! Hate being sick. I mean if I was not a mother and all, I would love to take the opp to apply for MC and lie in bed whole day, drinking hot chicken soup but NO! Now it worries me that what if Jaden gets my viral infection?

Took out a thermometer that the hospital gave me and thought I do some self health check. Put in under my tongue for a few minutes and then look at the temp but I could find no shit. Started all over again and still nothing. So I f*cked it and decided to call up the experts..

Call no.1

Hi! Good afternoon.. its me.. bla bla that took one of your services and she said I could call if I got any questions regarding baby and all..
Aah.. yes.
I am wondering if it is still alright to breastfeed my baby now that I am suffering from a very bad sore throat, flu and all. Not sure about fever but my body does ache. I have taken panadol but no positive results shown.. so it is still alright to feed him?
Why not? Its only sore throat and not fever. Panadol is alright.
Its kinda worrying because he would not take milk from bottles, be it nbreast milk or formula.
Thats good! Thats like the best news. You have succeeded as a breastfeeding mother. Its really good to hear that he wants it au natural. The tip is if you want him to take from bottle, then u can try poking small little holes in his teat so it will feel like the nipple.
Ok.. *sigh* thanks
Congrats ya.. so no worries bout panadol and all. Just continue breastfeeding la. Its ok. Bye!

Call no.2
Hello. Is this Doc so and so?
Yea..
I was intro-ed to u by someone who claimed that you are the best.
Uh huh.. what you want Emily?
Cheh.. no fun at all.. how u know its me?
Ur voice la.. hehehehe so whats up?

So i went on telling him whats my prob and he gave me advice. So prolly i will go to the pharmacy later on to get my meds.. sigh..

I really really hate being sick!

Doc's med or my DIY?

Finally my durable health came crushing down. Not completely but I do feel a little weak. I am down with nasal congestions and sore throat. Nasal congestions might be common with me who sneezes like ten times continuously, sometimes more but sore throat is rather uncommon for me. Is it the weather or is it just me that has been eating lots of heaty food lately? My nasal congestions makes me rub my nose so hard that it always bleed. Scary scary! Thought of going to see the doc for some meds but then again, I am scared some GP will just prescribe those normal med that may have too large doses that would not go right with me breastfeeding. So I decided to take the matter into my own hands and google possible solutions.

Sore, itchy throat and/or cough
  • Drink strong black tea (use 2 tea bags per cup).
  • Drink hot lemonade with honey. Or make a mixture of one part lemon juice and two parts honey. Sip throughout the day.
  • Drink fenugreek tea to relieve head and chest congestion and cough.
  • Use Zinc gluconate lozenges, but avoid taking large amounts of zinc for more than seven days, because it can interfere with other minerals in the body.
  • Salt water gargle:
Mix a 1 tablespoon of salt in eight ounces of warm water. Gargle the whole mixture (don't swallow) several times a day.
  • Apple-cider vinegar and water gargle.
Mix 1-6 teaspoons (1/3 - 2 tablespoons) vinegar in a glass of water; you can mix it as strong as you can stand it. Gargle one mouthful (swallow afterward or spit it out). Repeat twice. Do this every hour, or as needed.
  • Slippery elm bark can help with sore throat and cough. It comes in herbal cough drops and throat lozenges (check the other ingredients!), or you can make a tea. For tea, use 1 to 3 teaspoons of powdered bark per cup, boil and simmer 15 minutes. Up to 3 cups per day.
  • Chamomile tea gargle (you can also drink the tea)
  • Goldenseal tea gargle (use every 2 hours or as needed)
abstracted from here

Think I shall just do the lemonade with honey and the salt water gargle. Will let you guys know the end results if it really works wonders. Dang! and I thought I was healthy enough to last through the breastfeeding period for my boy!

Speaking of health, Hubby and I paid RM50 just to make our boy poo. Remember when I said that he has not been pooping for the past one week. Well, yesterday, we took him to see his paediatrician. Doc said that Jaden do not seem to have any tummy wind = GOOD! and there was only a little bowel which is not hard in his right side. Jaden's left seemed clear but Doc has no idea why he is still not pooping and the fact that he is drinking breastmilk too. Should not have any problems with constipation because I don't have one. So Doc inserted some tiny yellowish med up Jaden's ass which will encourage him to poo and right enough, just a few minutes after leaving Doc's clinic, We heard a pushing sound from Jaden and ya.. you get the drift. The car stank up of the poo smell. Lets just say, he poo-ed three times yesterday after the visit. Good boy!

o.Oh and Doc said we can now slowly introduce water into his diet. Then next month, when Jaden hits his 4th month, we can intro him diluted baby juices into his diet.. followed by veges soon after. Yay! Hes a big boy now... Fri this week, Jaden is going to be 3 months and 3 weeks old.. he can laugh now by the way! *sigh* my boy.. hes going to be a mischievious one I can tell... =)

Life ...

Honeymoon. Its supposed to be something romantic done by newlywed couples. The reason behind it; I guess os to enjoy it on the bed *wink* ,give the in-laws their grandchildren so the relatives and them do not pester you for the rest of your life and also to do lots of shopping or whatsoever during that period where the husband is most giving. *gRin** That is honeymoon but that is only my thoughts. Different people would have a different perspective to what honeymoon is anyway. So don't mind me.

I can still remember Hubby waking me up in the middle of the night and was so happy with what he did. He successfully booked us a flight to Bali for our 'honeymoon', which is supposed to happen this month. Everything went through fine, and when the time came after Jaden was born, we both decided that its best to bring him along on the trip as there was no one that can take care of him. He just wouldn't take formula or breastmilk through bottles. He wants it straight from the breast. and yes, he is on a full course of breastmilk and breastmilk only. No other mixtures of liquid of whatsoever but thats beside the point I am trying to say here... We paid for Jaden's flight too, and was browsing through for hotels and places of interests to go to. I was pretty hyped up for the trip but at the back of my mind, I was also worried that Jaden could handle this trip well. How on earth was I suppose to breastfeed him at the airport? The plane? In Bali if we were to travel far from the hotel? How is Jaden going to behave under that heat? Will Hubby and I enjoy the holiday with all these worries? *sigh* SO MUCH to think about. GUESSED everything happened for a reason. We didn't make the trip afterall. The money was burn. Next time Bali! Don't ask us why but there are reasons why we did not make the trip and lucky we did not either. Coz my little boss was cranky and not feeling well either the whole of the weekend. Think he might be starting to teeth... Next time then.. there will always be next time.. think holiday trips will only be planned when Jaden is old enough... like 2 years old or something like that...

Somehow my eyes does sense that whenever theres a party or wedding round the corner, it will work itself out and give me the ultimate swellness. My eyes just got swollen on me again and my sister's wedding registration is around the corner. Yay! Psychic eyes I have! ##@@##!

Blind as a bat

Went to the optometrist today. Needed to have my eyes checked, as my right eye keeping spurting out water and it hurts. (exaggerating about the water spurting).. but still, it hurt. Found out that my power did indeed go up and as I was walking around with that 'test specs', Hubby said that I looked like some creature from futurama or it just looked like some torture kit on me... hhrruummpphh.. well, the bill for a new specs with lens didn't come out exactly pleasing either. Felt so bad but I badly needed the specs too. Thought I would do away with the contacts for a while since I am mostly home and I don't go out either. Specs can't be that bad right?

XY wanted to come around with her Hubby yesterday but Jaden was kicking up a fuss. He hasn't been pooping for nearly a week now. Last night, he just kept on crying. He only went off to sleep at about 3am.. so that leaves Hubby and me no choice but to sleep through morning till about late afternoon today. Hey! Jaden too slept till late afternoon. Hes back to not eating his usual consumptions again. So worried about my little boy. Is driving me nuts!
Sorry XY but my boy's mood was just too foul to receive any guests. =)

I can forsee year 2008 will be a challenge for both Hubby and me.. may it all be good. Crossing my fingers real hard! **

Just around the corner...

It has rather been a whirlwind of happenings in our (my family) life lately. We are now accommodating ourselves to these changes and hope that it would turn out better. Not to say that we had a bad one but just that it could be better. Why not strive to be better than to stay stagnant all the time right? There has to be a push to want to achieve more anyway!

Chinese New Year will soon be here. Aah.. the family celebrations. I can still see this little girl getting so excited over CNY, her parents taking her to buy new clothes. Her new clothes must consist of at least 2-3 new shirts / blouses, a pair of jeans, a pair of shoes, a skirt or two and of course a new pair of pyjamas to wear on CNY eve. A tradition! A new haircut...Then always the favourite part of a kid, looking forward to collect her red packets and counting them, smiling all the way to the bank. The family get-together for CNY eve dinner, the firecrackers after.. tv sessions with the whole family. Life could not be more wonderful eh?

but..

now this little girl is all grown up. She has not been celebrating family dinners at her parents' hometown for quite some time. It has been a quiet affair for the past two years, then driving down to meet up to make the customary visits and back straight home to where she belong -the island. CNY eve has been celebrated with friends at the strike of 12, drinking. The days after was also celebrated with friends at pubs..

This year, this girl would no longer be back on the island, or her parents' hometown to have her family dinner.
This year, this girl would be at her in-laws having her first CNY dinner with the in-laws with her son, getting red packets instead of her. She would be giving out instead of receiving now. Joy to the children around her then... but a piece of her will always miss the good times she had shared with her side of her family back up in the North. The relatives she has, plentiful, none could imagine. Just imagine, her maternal grandfather has 13 children, so do the math of the cousins she has and nieces and nephews she has... paternal side, grandpa has 5 children... hmm.. its really a one big happy family shes got back there...

The little girl, as you guys would have guessed by now is yours truly but this year, I don't feel the festive mod kicking in. No excitement to go shopping for new clothes, or a new hairdo. Hairdo prices would have sky rocketed by now... so I wait. I always wait.. clothes? Don't feel attractive enough to want to dress up.. *sigh* It will be quite a quiet one for me this year..

snakes *hisss*

They are sly but not smart enough to cover up
They slither around your back, hoping to get profit off you
They trick you into believing they are to help but their agenda is the opposite.
They are jealous of what you have.
They do things behind your back.
They do not dare to tell you to their face their actions.

You thought you could trust them...
...but in the end...
...they turn out to be nothing but snakes

Chaos

My son is now watching football with his daddy. He was wailing like a siren inside the room just a while ago. He must have a nightmare then and woke up to nobody beside him. So he wailed and wailed till Hubby deserted Liverpool to come to soothe his son. See the power he reigns over us?

My fish a.k.a The Explorer (convict chiclid) is terrorizing the aquariam chasing the guppies now. He managed to kill one, 9 more to go. Me think he gone crazy!
The male Black Molly is swimming near the nursery eyeing the baby fishes. Sick fish!
I have crazy fishes in the tank I tell you...
The guppies pulak, is trying to swim against the bubble current. Madness!

Life in this house of Yaps always hae unpredictables happening. Unwanted unpredictables... but then should it not happen, there won't be any stories to tell eh? =)

Sakit hati

So sakit hati...

It all begun with the lectric trip on my apartment floor. It only happens to my floor. So I went to the babies' room to check and VOILA! It was like some dominoes effect that Cheeko got a sudden scare and started to hop madly around his cage, which triggered off Cheekie to do the same thing. BUT Cheekie was the one that suffered the consequence of that dominoes effect. Her head got stuck right between the cage. I shouted for Hubby to come and save her. She was already shrieking in pain. Luckily she was fine with Hubby's presence. Hubby tried to cut open the cage but the steel just wouldn't budge. He sent me down to ask the handyman for a wire-cutter only to be heard in the background of the phone call, his girl-friend or wife laughing at my request. STUPIAK! When I came back, Hubby said he managed to save Cheekie. Hubby had pulled the steel bars apart with all his strength... *sigh* those shrieks of pain and trauma by our little girl. So sakit hati.. =( Now shes all sitting in one corner, still traumatised.. hopefully she will be fine by tomorrow although she will be suffering from bruises.. so damn sakit hati... poor little bunny!
