O U R (SimonYap clan) Anniversary & Monthliversary

Today marks my 2nd Wedding Anniversary but all celebrations will be on hold till he recovers fully from the nasty chicken pox.

The little one gets to cut the cake on his own

Today also marks my little boy turning 19 months old. *sigh*
5 more months before he turns TWO!

Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity. Henry Van Dyke quotes

**updated**

He bought me a bouquet of roses!! OMG! He actually bought me a bouquet of roses to commemorate our 2nd Wedding Anniversary.. I am feeling o.Oh soooo very touched! *girly tears rolling down the cheek* He can be such a sweetie... aaawwwWwwwww!!!!! **

1st day of our weekend in Penang -Crankiness

Jaden did not want to sleep during the car ride to KLIA. Instead, he chose to want to close his eyes when we were nearing the KLIA car park terminal area. Distracted him a little and soon, we were out of the cab, heading towards check=in.

He made friends with the policewomen who checked him and his stroller. He was feeling so excited in the big waiting hall, looking out of the window at the vehicles passing by below, birds flying here and there and once in a while, trying to catch other passengers' attention.

Both of us, mother and son were allowed onto the aircraft first. This is what I like about MAS compared to Air Asia and also that they have the airbridge connected to the plane, instead of climbing up and down the staircase and up the staircase onto the plane, which is really really troublesome for a single travelling parent like me.

Jaden was ok in the plane until he started to feel the heat, no thanks to the air-con of the plane that was not blasted on full, and well, since it was the afternoon, the sun did contribute quite a lot to the heat factor.

Jaden started throwing tantrum, crying, shitting (which I had to quickly carry him to the toilet once the safety belt sign is off / after take-off) and then back to more crying. So embarassing as we were the only mother and child on board and everybody else around couldn't get some peace and quiet.

I had to let him bite my hand to keep him quiet and still during the take-off. Trust me, that was not the last option on my mind and what got to be done, has to be done. My right hand swelled instantly and he puntured a few holes too, making my hand bleed. That is how terrible the damage his teeth can cause... I WAS SO ANGRY I SWORE I WOULD WHACK HIM THE INSTANT WE WERE OUT OF A PUBLIC PLACE (which i did not la but kept of scolding him only).

He only kept quiet for a while when the air steward gave him some biscuits to munch on and that also we were just 10 minutes from touching down at Penang International Airport already.

Father was already there waiting to pick us up when we arrived. It was raining in Penang. I reached at about 5pm, after waiting for the luggage and all.

Traffic jam was unavoidable and soon, Jaden fell asleep all the way home, didn't even budge when we put him down on to the bed at home. He was that tired.

He woke up at about 7pm and mother fed him porridge. We went out after that for dinner at our usual BaliBali and ordered my favourite barbequed cod fish, kam heong kappa and the claypot tofu. Jaden ate quite a lot of my rice and tofu too despite being fed one bowl of porrigde earlier.

We went to Sunshine Farlim after dinner because there was a few things I need to get for Sat and I came across the Carefree Pantyliner 2x40s pack for only RM 8 sumthing with sunshine card. HOW CHEAP IS THAT? The cheapest in KL also RM11.30 the most.. RM8 sumthing? I quickly snapped up 2. How could I missed such a good deal. Grabbed some biscuits for Jaden, diaper rash cream and a ball for Jaden to play, just in case he gets bored at home.

We went home after that and boy! I was konked out by then. Quickly bathed Jaden, then myself and let him settled down with my father in the living room. Both the man and boy was sitting down together watching the 1030pm AEC news.

Packed what I had to take with me tomorrow to the hotel and then asked Jaden to go into the room at about 12.30am. Chucked the milk inside his mouth and well, after having his conversation with his chicken-pox dad, he slept without any problems. He was deadbeat tired and so was I.

So that is end of our day 1 in Penang.. quite eventful in a way coz I get to eat my Kam Heong Kappa and Barbequed Cod Fish! WOO HOOOOOOO~

2nd day in Penang

I couldn't really sleep. Woke up to feed Jaden milk and then I could not sleep back. Even my parents were surprised to see me up at about 830am. I then settled myself at the couch, popped in my all time fav VCD - City of Glass

and its OST that really can make my heart all go woozy..

Try to remember the kind of September
When life was slow and oh, so mellow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green and grain was yellow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When you were a tender and callow fellow.
Try to remember, and if you remember,
Then follow...

There is more to this lyric but well, lets keep this short, shall we as we are all missing the main point of this blog entry. I finished watching it, had my bowl of curry mee.. YUMMY! and the boy was still sleeping! So I got ready myself first and then only wake the boy up, with the help of my father.

Fed him, change him and we were out of the house. Went to Gurney Plaza to have my nails done and hair wash as my hair was really unruly and needed something to be done about it. If not, I think the guests at WeiWei's wedding would think I am like some crazy woman.

Reached home at about 230pm and fed the boy another round of lunch -porridge. As soon as we finished, SChee already reached and I packed the boy up and zoom~ we were off to Parkroyal where we stayed for the night.

The boy loved it the very moment we set him down onto the floor of the hotel room and he kept running here and there checking out the whole room. See his happy face?

After a while the boy was already yawning, demanding sleep. So I had him take his bath which he was like so 'kampung' because he has never taken a bath in a bath-tub other than his but once he was used to it, he just kepy playing in there. He fell asleep soon after I put him down on the bed.. he was really tired. My father tire him out when we were at Gurney Plaza by letting him run at the concourse area.

SChee and I took the opportunity to quickly bathe, get ready and all while the boy slept. He woke up at about 715pm and we changed him into the clothes that Linaree gave him when I was still pregnant I think. Well, it fits him real nice now and he looks so cute in it! See? Cute? Thanks Linaree!

Reached about 8pm at the wedding venue, minutes before it started and voila, let the FEAST begin!

WeiWei and her husband looked so compatible-looking, such a good looking couple! and and and he actually sang two songs! His voice is really good.. and well, lets just say meeting up with friends known over 15 years or more were really good. We, as Sri Inaians of Penang are really close knitted to each other despite being far from each other but whenever we meet up, we are like we had never been a day apart!

We took lots of pictures together.. from my camera, Evon's camera and WeiWei's official photographers. Jaden had his share of fun there too and couldn't take his eyes off this little girl -WeiWei's niece!

At the end of the night, we took a group photo where I am still waiting for WeiWei to upload to FB so I can steal and post it here.

Jaden then started throwing tantrum and SChee and I then decided that it was time to bring the boy back to the hotel to rest. Evon followed us back so we can catch up on each others' life.

Touchdown hotel, I bathed Jaden and changed him into his jammies and let him loose around the hotel. SChee bathed after Jaden and I was the last one. Jaden sure had a lot of fun that night! Evon left soon after when her boyfriend came to pick her up leaving the three of us again in the hotel room.

I bathed quickly and got Jaden to drink his milk as I saw him yawning and walking around like a dunken kitten. Heaved him onto the bed and let him roll between SChee and me while we both adults were talking away and the boy fell asleep right beside me.

It was really a good good day and a good ending to the whole day!

3rd Day of our weekend - Penang

Woke up as early as 8am, made Jaden milk since he was tossing and turning and crying and have already woken up SChee, so might as well just wake him up too. On the cartoon channel for him while feeding him and that made him open his eyes wide.

Three of us then adjourned for our breakfast buffet. Mmm.. Its been a while since I last had breakfast. Seriously, breakfast is such a distant memory here for me in KL.

At about 930am, we were done with eating and quickly went up to the room to change into our swimsuits. i was so excited to bring Jaden go swimming.
Alas, after I came out from the bathroom, it was raining. It took about an hour for it to drizzle very lightly. We then took him down to the poolside to change, just in case he catches a cold if he changed in the room as it will be quite a long walk through the corridors to the lift and to the pool and little boys can't be naked for long can they?

The swimming trunk Hubby and I bought for him looked so cute!!! Kai-ma SChee blew the float up for Jaden and together, after changing him into his swimming trunks, we introduced him to the pool slowly by letting him sit in the crabby float at the most shallow area of the pool. -The Stairs. Slowly we pull him to the middle of the pool and started showing him how fun it was but well, since this is his first time in a pool, he was scared. His face were nothing but expressions of stress. *sigh*

After a good 10 minutes in the pool, where he did not show any signs of relaxation, we thought its best to bring him out of the pool and introduce him to the beach instead.
We wiped him dry and wrapped him like a popiah before we walked towards the beach. As soon as his two little feet touched the sand, he then had them wrapped around SChee and clung on to her like a koala bear. End of swimming and beach expedition. Decided its better to bring him back to the room and let him bathe and all. Lets just say he enjoyed himself more in the bathtub than the pool.

After his nice little warm bathtub bath, made him his milk and he drank it till he fell asleep on the bed. Padahal its already checkout time but SChee said nevermind.. so we let him sleep for about an hour or more while we both were busy packing and double checking to see if we have taken everything we brought there back. SChee made a couple of trips to and fro up and down to put the stuff into the car.

After a while, both of us were already hungry monkeys, so we decided we might as well just carry the boy down and let him sleep on the sofa available at Kool Banana Club @ the hotel while we bahamkan lunch! The boy woke up as soon as we hit the restaurant and there he goes, feeling refreshed from nap, he started his exploring while SChee and I ate lunch while keeping an eye on him.

We decided that WeiWei would be very busy entertaining her in-laws, so we left Batu Ferringhi for my home. The boy was still sleepy so by the time we reached my place, he was already yawning and all.. and soon had his little nap again. Mom fed him porridge before he slept off anyway so he wont wake up like 15 minutes later.

Later that evening, we proceeded back to Bukit Tambun and went for my long-awaited Bukit Tambun seafood. We ordered the steamed boiled octupus, sweet & sour baby sotongs, fish cooked in two different style, my lala in ginger and garlic, salted-egg mantis prawn and baked crabs. I had more than the two of my friends there. Just walloping away.. and the best thing is that all these came up to about RM70/Rm80 only. 7 dishes for about RM70/80 but Jeff commented later that it was considered expensive coz at another restaurant, it would have been about RM60++ only.. *sigh* I missed all those good food for such reasonably low priced bills.

Jeffry sent me back to Penang and stayed a while to play with Jaden. Jaden seems to be ok with all my friends it seems.

WeiWei and her husband came and find me at about 1230am after she was done entertaining her in-laws and she actually drove all the way down from Golden Sands to my place and then back to Golden Sands again where the lovebirds checked in for their little beach getaway. I couldn't be more touched than this. Jaden loved them too and insist on playing ball with them while they were @ my place.

They left at about 115 am and well, the boy was so tired from being a host that sleep came easy this time for him while I sat and packed and tried to keep awake for my 645am flight.

Woke Dad up at about 430am and soon, we were out of doors at 445am. Reached the airport at about 5am. They boy was then cranky because of the lack of sleep but well, luckily he behaved this time..

Both of us finally reached home sweet home at 935am and well, what is there to do other than continue sleeping until lunchtime?

It was really a good weekend away....

Quarantined!

I am officially 'kicked out' of my house until the bumps go away.. and bumps I mean by those red spots sprouting out on Hubby's body.

He is having his first chicken pox at the age of 30.. *tsk tsk* poor thing!

Anyway the SimonYap clan house is officially off limits to everybody unless you had had chicken pox before and is not scared to see a SBALDY (spotty)! AHAHHAHAHAHAHAH

Took Jaden for his chicken pox vaccination jab. Hopefully it will do its magic ... will be moving to Iz's home for a few days now before going back Penang.. *sigh*

Funny how I think I am the 'strongest' in the house compared to Hubby.. hehehe

Do get well faster k Hubby? *sigh*

Feeling o.Oh so excited!

I don't know why but I am feeling real excited about going back Penang this weekend. Another getaway with Jaden and my friends.

Most of the itinerary is set, Sat is mostly dedicated towards WeiWei's wedding and then Sun, a day of fun for Jaden and myself (with my childhood friends) and seafood and seafood and more seafood. Can't wait to get my arse over at Bukit Tambun for some cheap ass scrumptious meal of seafood that I was deprived of for the past 1 1/2 years.. padahal pulak, I just had seafood with Joy and gang but well, nothing compares to the seafood at Bukit Tambun.

Just too bad some friends can't make it back for this wedding.. *sigh* if not then the girls will be rather complete..

We were so over the place last time and now, at least all of us is in Asia.. except for Gwen.. although we were all over :-

Gwen -Melb
Schee -Gold Coast
PChern -Sydney
Evon -Penang / KL
Wei Wei -USA
me -KL

and now three out of the 6 girls are married women.. wonder whose next in line? My safe-test bet - I think it will be SChee.. Don't know why but am sure it will be.. and hopefully it jadi-lah! Gwen can be last for all I know..

o.Oh my Penang darlings, I am coming home!!!!!

My theory

My theory of how smokers become smokers...

There is at least one family member they grew up with is a smoker.

Tell me if it is true but this is my theory.. so don't want your kid to smoke? Stop your spouse from smoking FOREVER!

Today was a perfect day but...

Today was rather a clear but non-cloudy day.
I was looking so forward to bringing Jaden to swim for his very first time after a few postponed weekends.
Well, I guess the reason of me wanting to push for Jaden to be able to swim before this month ends is so that his father could join in his son's first time in the pool but I guess that is not going to happen.

Well, just too bad ain't it?
No matter what, I am going to bring Jaden to swim in Penang and go to the beach. At least I know I can get things done without having to wait for others. To wait for his father to do such activities with him is like waiting for the pigs to fly.

To wait for him to take the initiative to plan and sweep us away on a short holiday too is like asking the pig not to eat... how long have it been? 3 years now? Before pregnancy, during pregnancy and after pregnancy? Is it so hard to take a short weekend break away with the family?

Sometimes I think making plans with Schee and Gwen to go off for a girly vacation is much more easier to make than with others. At least that will materialized once decision is made and flight paid.

and then there are the friends. ..
Waiting for friends are like taking risks in gambling.
Can't force them either cause they have no obligations to follow whatever requests we have in the first place.
There are some that said they will come and find you and for the whole day, you don't get a message or a call to let you know they are not coming.
Then there are relatives who say they can't wait to see you but they don't take the initiative to meet up just because cousin A can't make it today and cousin B don't have transport and cousin C says the fortune teller tells her its not a good time to meet up with certain certain horoscopes.
So to avoid disappointments of all sorts, its always best to take the matter in your own hands and do it on your own.

An advice was given to me years back.. "Never put any expectations on others for you will get disappointed. Make the move yourself instead..."

So emo gila today.. just maybe because I am sick of waiting and waiting for things to happen.. and I just don't mean one thing in particular.. so many broken promises along the way that I am so sick of.

So well, I am just hoping Jaden would enjoy his weekend back in Penang with me. Can't wait!

He is not a She

Today is Ethan Ee's full moon party. Actually two days back but the parents decided to hold it today so its more convenient for relatives and friends to make it to see their very first bundle of joy.

Jaden was ecstatic to be there as there were kids there and they were all running wild. He, too wanted to join them. Alas, he is too small to be running around with the kids so all he could do was to run around by himself, occasionally trying to follow the bigger kids, going from one table to another to try to make friends with the little boys and girls there.

Then one father spoke to his kid, "See, Mei Mei wants to play with you..."

*ahem* Excuse me but Jaden is a boy!

Nevermind that.. then little Ethan made his grand entrance and o.Oh.. hes sucha small little baby! The vulnerability of a newborn and people all cooing, paying him so much attention.

Jaden even made the 'sayang' sound and wanted to 'sayang' him some more but No, I don't trust me boy when it comes to letting him near a newborn. Boy, my son can be really rough, no thanks to the wrestling activities he always have with his father!

Little Ethan was born only weighing about 2.9kg-3kg. Thats even lighter than Jaden... Seriously, I kind of forgot how small Jaden used to be. Jaden now has got another new friend now.. two years older than him but well, they will soon meet up and play together real soon I guess.

A few of Hubby's work acquaintance were there as well... and well, lets just say at the end of the night, there were at least three more comments if Jaden was a girl. Culprit of such comments were because Jaden has dimples and long hair. *sigh*

Does Jaden look like a girl? He is anything but a girl. The laugh, the body language... the roughness!!! *shakes head* =)

Disappointment

I only got to bed at about 5am, after rushing through the episode 9 of 愛就宅一起. I kind of fell in love with all the characters in the movie. Maybe its because its kinda funny and emo at the same time but last night's episode got me so emotional that I was sobbing throughout. *shy* Luckily Hubby and Iz who were seated at the living room watching Liverpool vs Chelsea thinks I was down with flu instead. *phew.. save the embarassment*

Woke up pretty early today at about 8am, made milk for Jaden, fed him and then rushed to toilet where 'big urgent business' awaits. It was the churning which woke me up in the first place. Thought nothing of it and then went "Oooh man.. of all days, why today?" and went to let it all out before having to bathe and wash my hair.

Took me nearly an hour to blowdry my hair, get dressed and put on make-up. Tummy was still not feeling that good but under control. Hubby woke up soon after and made a call to Aunt Lin that totally put me off.

In the first place, my nerve was already not right when he said that I stay behind at home. He should have made that call last night so I can make other arrangements should that not work but well, guess the bad tummy made me felt a little better then that I need not be out there standing there right now, thinking when I could rush to the toilet.

Aunt Lin could not help babysit Jaden today as she has a new baby coming in and with Xian Xian and the new baby, guess her hands are full.

Immediately, I went and change back into my pyjamas, washed my face clean and went straight back to sleep. And sleep I did because I didn't even know when Hubby came into the bathroom to bathe and left the house. If it was during the year we were still going out as bf/gf, he would have prolly left me a little note or come and kiss me goodbye. Now? hrrummpphh.. its true when they say men change after 3 months of pat-tohing and even more a drastic change when come after marriage.

I am still feeling kind of disappointed that I did not get to join him for work today. I badly want to go today because its my kind of interest but well too bad for me, ain't it?

I finally woke up at about 130pm with the tummy churning again. jaden was already wide awake then, but he let me sleep. He was just rolling around in his own side of the bed, talking to himself and lazing around. I quickly jumped out of bed, threw him the Ikea catalogue and rushed into the 'office' again.

Guess that was the final letout because now I think I am all good, whipped Jaden out of bed and *FUWAHHHH* I smelt something bad. Thought it was just my nose but NOOOOO... Jaden, too had pooped and pooped lots he did. Wiped him clean, change him and took him outside and fed him full and now here I am sitting in front of the comp blogging away my disappointment.

If only blogging it can bring the disappointment away, I would be so glad but the problem won't go away because deep down I am not satisfied with my daily routine. I feel its wasting away my youth and whatever 'brains' left in me to perform in the corporate world that I am dearly hoping to get back in. I mean taking care of Jaden has been really wonderful. I do appreciate that I am able to spend such precious time with him but guess, there are some things I would want to do before turning into a FULL TIME housewife, stuck at home, in t-shirts, unkempt hair and all. I was not made for this FULL TIME.

So if I were to have friends asking me should they be getting married? Should they be expecting a child.. well, I would say, " Are you ready to give up on all the fun you get as a gf/bf? Is your husband as paranoid as mine to want to keep you and your child at home at all times? Would your husband give you some time off alone and not left complain when left with child? Would your husband still let your play dress up like how a girl should dress up? Would your husband still take you dating and make you feel that you are still so wanted by him?" because if all those are NO NO and NO.. don't bother.. drag on the pat-tohing period as long as you can..

As for Jaden, there are times I really feel so bad myself for even having that thought of letting him go to a babysitter but if not now, when? The corporate world does not wait for people whose brains are dying day by day, sitting at home and all these young things are coming out from uni every year... =(

My sacrifice

I didn't sleep the whole of yesterday as in from 12am April 9.. I was fighting sleep because I knew if I were to sleep, I will not be able to wake up in time to go to the UMMC early. I wanted to avoid the going-to-work crowd traffic jam, to get a decent parking spot at the hosp parking and not get frus because its all filled up and to get in line first to see the doc so he can write and sign the drug prescription paper. If you have not been to a government hospital, you won't know the amount of people that is there daily. Its even more than the weekend crowd you find at the PC fair.

My morning cuppa~

I was a little early there at the clinic but there was quite a number of people there already. Took my number and the nurse at the counter told me that the doc will only be in at 9am. I looked at the clock hanging on the wall and it says 755am. Right... So I decided to go down to delifrance to have myself a cuppa of hot black coffee so I don't doze off driving back home later. Watched people walk by, old loving couples, little children, patients in wheelchairs, these people in white robes walking here and there with files in hand.. so many people from walks of life to look at.. The coffee tasted heaven to me then as its been so long since I had a nice hot coffee to myself, all alone.

Bought The Star and went up to the clinic to wait, just in case the doc comes in early from his visit at the ward. Soon, lots of people poured into the clinic and most of the chairs were taken up. That was when it started to get entertaining.

Case #1 :: I heard a lady who was just sitting behind me kept on greeting anybody that walks past her "Good Morning! Cho San (Cantonese), Selamat Pagi (Malay)!" This Chinese lady was in a very cheery mood.

Case #2 :: A man who kept walking up and down, his trousers folded until the ankle, and when he sat down a seat away from me with his legs very very kangkang got sounded by the nurse that if he don't sit decently, no doctors want to see him and that made him got straight up and tailed the nurse to ask why.

Case #3 :: This girl who seems to be just 15 or 16 years old came in with her mother and she was so hyper. Giggling whenever and wanted to take mags from the reading area home. She couldn't really sit still at a place for long so she kept changing. Her mother sat right beside me. The girl would sometimes read out loud what was on the TV screen but like two words out of the sentence... skip the next two and read out the next two.

Case #4 :: Some patients who comes for doc consultations will greet one another like some mini-reunion.

Case #5 :: There is this one guy who kept asking the nurse every five minutes when the doctor is coming in despite the nurse telling him after 9. You can actually see the frus on the nurses' face as they were busy dealing with lots of documents.

You get the scenario. There were lots more but I don't really remember but it was rather entertaining to me as I was really trying to fight sleep and boredom while waiting for the doc to come in, which he came in at only about 930am.

The makcik that was sitting beside me turned to me and asked how long I have been waiting. I said for a while now and she asked the reason why I was there. I replied to take medicine. Then she went quiet for a minute or two before asking me the question of the year.

"How long have you been taking the medicine?"

I could hear Hubby laughing right there and then. I meant Hubby was home sleeping with Jaden then I think but still, I imagined him there and the laugh that will come out from him.

I turned to the makcik and said no, those are for my mother.. you can actually sense that she felt awkward before trying to change topic to her daughter, telling me that her daughter has been taking the meds close to ten years now.

Thats pretty long aint it? Anyway, doc came, I went in, took the prescription and had to wait again at the pharmacy for my turn to pay for meds and get them from the counter. My turn was like 40 numbers away. So there I sat and people-watched till my turn is called.

Bought breakfast/lunch on the way home and not long after I reached home, Jaden woke up and decided not to sleep back. Then we followed Hubby out for his meeting, where both Jaden and I went into the CD shop and came out with a children's VCD for him and the latest Wang LeeHom Heartbeat album for myself. hehehehhe Told you I will get it, didn't I? Need to know his songs before going to the concert and not feel stupid and anyway his album is never a bad investment as the songs, music is really good.

Finally we reached home at about 5pm and gave Jaden his bath and put him down for his nap. I couldn't take it any longer and took a short nap myself. Woke up an hour later and lazed in bed for another 1/2 hour before I went outside and found Jaden still sleeping. Can't be he is more tired than I am right? Hmm...

Anyway it was really a tiring day for me and never again I think would I want to sacrifice sleep anymore.

Lee Hom in KL 070409 @ Music Man Concert Promo Tour

As you guys know, I am a big fan of many artistes but I must say, there is only a few favourite favourites and Wang Lee Hom is definitely one of them. Why?Just because I find him real talented when it comes to music. Movie? Not really.. but music is really his thang!

Last night, he was down in KL for his one and only concert promo tour, so I heard and all took place in Solaris @ Mont Kiara.

Of course, as usual, I wont be the one there to bang with the 9000 crowd of girls (I read that somewhere) and is not sure if I am going to get an autograph as well but well, we already have one autograph CD of his at home and guess who it belonged to??? HUBBY!! Yea.. I know.. what was he thinking then when he went to take an autograph from Lee Hom? HAHAHAHHAHA

Anyway, if one is to google Lee Hom in Mont Kiara or Lee Hom in Solaris, confirmlah there will be lots of blog posts of the event. I found two that really satisfied my curiousity. So I guess I must give credit to these both as well, one had a recorded video of him singing Hearbeat during the promo and one is from the press conference earlier which took place in KL Hilton.

I was happy with just having to listening to the phone interview that MY.fm had with Lee Hom at 445pm. I was in the car waiting for Hubby, Jaden was reading his ABC book and there I was, getting to hear the sexy voice through the phone interview. It was only about 10 minutes but well, what the heck, I didn't entirely missed the whole concert promo thingy didn't I? *grin*

All I know is that now the RM88 ticket is all sold out. Only a few remaining RM198 concert tickets now I guessed and of course the more expensive ones but that is really for the I-CANT-LIVE-WITHOUT-YOU-LEEHOM-FANS and as a Malaysian, of course I won't mind if it comes to getting some free VVIP tickets for the concert. Ice-cream and shit are not friends

Failed badly again at healthy diet regime.

Hubby took me to eat steamboat buffet at this place opposite Yuen's steamboat. Had a lot of crab, my MUST HAVE green noodles, lots of scallops and other steamboat stuff. Well, like I said, it was a buffet steamboat spread and I ate till I could not even walk my usual pace when it was time to go home. *BURP* I was that full and satisfied that my buffet steamboat craving is fulfilled. However, it just wasn't the same just because its not Yuen's steamboat. Must be the roasted chicken thing from Yuen's I guess.

I came home. Plop down in front of the TV, watched 90210... mouth was itching then for something to munch on and before I realized it, I actually finished the whole ice-cream in the tub. Chocolate & Strawberry ice-cream.. mm.. wait! Did I mention that I was very full from dinner earlier? *oops*

Then, I heard a grunt I was hoping it won't take place. At least not the moment I was just scooping the last spoon of ice-cream into my mouth. Then suddenly came a shout from the computer table... "HE POOPPPPEEDDDDD!!!!"

When the stenched hit me, I nearly puked. It was bad. I meant the smell. I was so filled up with the ice-cream, that it feels as if it has reached my neck and now, I have to clean up shit @ Jaden's butt. I then ran water for his bath. might as well, and carried him inside the room to wipe his shit off before rinsing his butt and crotch with soap and water. As I lifted both his legs up to wipe his butt, he suddenly shrieked so loud. Guess what greeted me when I turned to look at him? He shrieked because he just sprayed pee all over his body. AARRRGGHH!!!! Thank god, the nappy mat can be washed and dried instantly and I was already going to bathe him, so all I did was to take the tissue and wipe his pee off him, clean the shit up, wrapped it all in a plastic, put outside the room and carried him into the bathroom and do the thorough cleaning for Jaden.

If you are wondering, yea, I nearly gagged a few times when wiping his butt. I regretted so much for being such a glutton. I really am one big fat glutton!!!

o.Oh and as for the buffet steamboat... that was my first and last meal of the day too. My one and only meal which I stuffed myself crazy. Very bad for health huh? Damnit!

Cold war

I want to blog about what happened last night. For the first time, I got so angry with the little bou and just refused to have him near me or talk to him whatsoever and that lasted from his supposedly nap time till his bedtime.

The reason being him putting up a fuss when I was transferring him from the living room to the bedroom, air-con nicely blasting cool air for him and he just started crying as soon as I picked him up from the bassinet. This procedure had happened for a few times and he has never even budged after he falls asleep but don't know what got into him last night, he prolly was having one of those light sleeping day and well, that transfer into the room woke him up instant and crying too.

FINE! So I decided to let him fall asleep by himself in the room like usual while I grab both his feet to restrain him from much movement. This has proven to be very efficient to make him bored and fall asleep fast but well, like I said, nothing went right yesterday. He decided to headbutt into my nose which I could hear the loud 'cracking' sound. Trust me its painful! Then he decided to pull his bulging diaper and soon, created a little space by the elastic band and woo hoo, pee drizzled out. That was the last straw for me to take it all in. I started spanking him and then carried him out of the room and then told him that if he don't want to nap, then FINE WITH ME! but if he were to throw tantrum because he feels sleepy, then I will whack him.

He yawned several times but didn't throw tantrum. I was still angry then. I told Hubby to keep Jaden away from me. Don't let Jaden come near me. Well, Jaden too stayed far from me after that as if he sensed that I was angry at him and he, too showing me some 'color'. He sort of ignored me too.. Hubby laughed and said we were both at cold war. HA HA HA not funny!

Anyway, I told Hubby to get Jaden over to Iz's house after dinner so I can have my own time for a while. So I can do what I wanted to do in the first place, when Jaden was supposed to take his nap in the room. I guessed that was the little thing that made this issue so big for me. I was angry that Jaden screwed my 'cleaning up the house time', that I was not able to do as planned. If on normal days, I couldn't really be bothered with taking out the mop and mop the floor but well, I guess I have to say I blame it all on PMS again this time.

I am very sure it is PMS because ... because.. I know my own body works schedule best and yes, it is definitely PMS although 'auntie' ain't here yet...

*sigh* PMS can really turn me into a monster. I told Hubby that my mood aint good yesterday and well, he did keep his distance and gave me time off after dinner to come home to do whatever I want. After dropping them off at Iz's place, I came home and started sweeping and moping the house, washed my bag, do the dishes and boy, that was thereupeutic. It really made me calm down and suddenly I missed my little boy. Feeling pangs of guilt, I quickly freshen up, changed and walked over to Iz's place to find my little boy...

I really need to control my PMS because of late, I find myself losing temper, snapping back easily.. losing it. Sometimes on the verge of getting depressed because MOST of ALL my friends are out there earning their OWN bucks, partying and all while I am stuck at home with a bad hairstyle (yea, its back to hair depression time again---> meaning got to do some change again, get it Hubby?) feeling fat because reality I AM GETTING FATTER AND FATTER AT PLACES IT SHOULDNT BE BAD and looking and feeling older than what my age should be. Its like shouting out UNFAIR but well, I know this is just the PMS talking.. *sigh*

p/s: The little one fell asleep before 12am. What a miracle! Nearly fell asleep while having his night bath, nearly fell asleep when I was wiping him dry and dressing him and finally he got to sleep in peace when I chuck the milk bottle into his mouth, him suckling away and to dreamland he went as fast as he could...

Ma-in-law-in-town

Just came back from dinner with Aunt Lin and her side of her family and also Ma-in-law who came down from Melaka today.

Jaden put up a fuss again when we were about to leave just because he wanted to stay and play. The tantrum is horrendous! Am really planning to whoop him next time he does it again. It is really scary to want to think to take him out when the end consequences would be him clinging on to the door or anything he could to avoid going home. Is home that boring? BUT when he reaches home, he goes about doing his thing and is happy.. *sigh* Guess he knows the difference now that going out of the house means play time and fun and new things, while going home means just him and daddy mommy. No new faces to entertain him. He even cries at the door when his kai-yeh goes back. He actually wants to follow Iz out of the house.. *shakes head*

Hubby got his long-awaited for Grimlock Masterpiece series and like an excited child, he can't seem to stop caressing that plastic/metal dinosaur. It seemed everyone else on the same page as Hubby too was as excited as he is. Just how excited he is over Grimlock? Till he refuses to put it down and help me put the ceiling back properly in the bathroom and angrily asked me to leave him alone... that is how excited and engrossed he is in that new toy! BAH!

I hear the two rabbits biting the cage now. Should be asking to be let out now.. so toodles.. its rabbit-sitting hour now... =) and putting the boy to bed... Nitey nite peeps!

Resisting temptation -fail siut!

The moment the little boy shut his eyes for his nap, I quickly went and trim his little fingernails, then carried him inside the room to sleep and went about hanging my washed laundry, most of them are Hubby's clothes at the moment.. then took out the vege to wash, diced the garlic and cut the chilli padi, soaked the Chinese mushrooms and start cooking. o.Oh of course before that, cook the rice so by the time vege is done, rice is also ready!

I had the brocolli boiled for two minutes before draining the water then pour them out on a plate while I go fry the garlic till it looks a little brownish. Then I throw in the brocolli and the chinese mushroom and toss them while pouring in the oyster sauce. The outcome..mmm.. I love it! Can't wait for Hubby to come home and have dinner together.

Then I thought, might as well take some time out and sit and blog when I heard some noise coming from the room door. Look at it for a while and it was actually moving. I guessed the boy must have woken up and is trying to open the door to come out. True enough, after his one half hour nap, he crawled towards the door and attempted to open it only to find that I had shut it tight this time because I was cooking then. Don't want no oil and smell hovering over where I sleep do I?

His eye is still swollen. Poor little one but it seems to not bother him so the only thing I can do is make sure he don't go rubbing that eye, drink lots of water and wash his face whenever possible.

These two three days, I have only been eating a meal a day but when I have the meal, I really swallow it all down. Just like last night, Hubby bought the whole roasted duck from the old aunty selling by the road side near Tmn Mayang. Then he got two pasemburs, two cendols, one for each of us. I came home and cook rice and vege. Lets just say after the lunch/dinner I walloped, I felt like puking and I stayed full until I went to Giant and bought myself the mini cornettos and popped in about 5 mini cornettos. *guilty look*

... *sigh* and to actually think I want to lose at least a kg or two before end of April comes before I go back to Penang for WW's wedding! crap! I can see my 'diet' plans failing!

MUST EAT AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE TOMORROW.. my motto for the month of April... shall strictly stick to it!

Jaden's deadline

Last night Hubby and I brought Jaden over to Dr. Altaf's clinic for his 18 months immunization jab. A booster jab to the DPT/Polio jab. This would be his last compulsory jab until he turns 7 years old but there will be other optional jabs if we want him to have it such as the Chicken Pox jab, Hepatitis A jab (2x) and the pneumococcal jab (2x). I didn't ask specifically how much was a jab, I just asked how muchwould the jab costs and the lady at the counter said RM340. So now I am wondering if it is for a jab or the two jabs? All I know is that jab is one hell of a expensive one, same as the Rotavirus jab we gave him when he was 4 months old. That is also done in 2 course, best to be given to a baby under 6 months.

The gangster in me ... don't play play!

Anyway, Jaden was being a hero again last night for not crying when given the jab in the butt. He was just busy trashing Dr. Altaf's toy xylophone with his father when the jab was administered and all he did after that was give Dr. Altaf one dirty look just right after the jab was done as if someone had inappropriately touched him. LOL That jab costs RM 140. *sigh* All in the name of Jaden's good health.. the money we are willing to spend to ensure he stays healthy!

We were told by Dr that by his age, he should at least say 6 words and by the age of 2, he should at least say 20 words. I mean those were just guidelines to monitor the child's milestone developments and Jaden has yet to master 4 words yet. So his father gave him deadline of 2 months to say at least 4 more words. Guess Jaden work well with deadlines, like when we gave him his 2 months deadline to walk independently and he did it in a month. Hopefully he will achieve his deadline too for this assignment of his.

"I is no want no deadline Dadddeeeee!"

Today he woke up with a swollen eye. Looking just like me when my eye is swollen. I wonder if it is the 'bak chiam' or he bang somewere but I am sure its more likely to be heaty and its the 'bak chaim'. Poor thing, now one eye big, one eye small...

Jaden now knows how to want to stay out to play. Last night, when we were leaving the clinic, he screamed his head off when we took him out from the clinic. He actually wanted to stay inside and play with the toys and kids there but hey no, those kids are sick kids. I don't want him to play with kids that are sick.. as in I don't want him to catch those fever virus again and pay Dr Altaf another visit. If I could, I would want to stay away from the clinic!

o.Oh and Dr say I can now slowly introduce him to seafood but not shellfish yet.. eggs can.. nuts not really yet but those found in chocolate and all can be tested on him. So yay!
