Happy 18th Months old Baby Boy!

Today is when Baby Boy turns 18 months old. Will be bringing him out to meet his father at his father's workplace later on and see if his father could just sneak off an hour or half to have cake with his son.

Jaden's kai-yeh is coming to pick us up at about 230pm and then off we will go to see Hubby at work. Maybe I will make use of that time to go for a little shoe shopping since my silver heels are looking as if they will just tear anytime now. Need a pair of short heels.. silver is looking rather fine at the moment as I find it suits most coloured clothes that I have.

Baby Boy actually woke up earlier than Hubby and I this morning and started playing around. It seemed that he was really feeling excited about today but I made him sleep back after his milk so that when we go out later, he won't throw tantrum and be pleasant to Hubby's colleagues. It took quite a while before he settled back to bed as he was waiting for his father to come in back through the door but alas the father has left for work...

So what is it that Hubby is working on that has kept him real busy for a few months now?

This...

Hubby says that there are studio there at the DCIM exhibition in MidValley Exhibition Hall 2 so going to try my luck and see if Jaden is able to take a few pictures and have them printed on the spot just to commemorate him coming 1 1/2 years old. Going to dress him up in his Liverpool jersey and his new shoes since I know he will want to walk around now instead of being push in his stroller.

Rites.. got to go get ready before Iz comes and pick us up now.. just wondering should I wake the boy up and then bathe him before I bathe myself or should I just bathe myself and leave him be till we come home then only bathe him.. I think bathe him first would be a better idea.. =) So toodles!

Ready to go see Daddy @ Midvalley

Where is Kai-yeh, Mommy?

715pm :: updated ::

We came back from Midvalley at about 615pm. There was rather a lot of people at the exhibition centre and I have never really seen so many people with DSLRs before. They were all gathering just around the exhibition centre and some even brought their own ladders so they can get a space there to photograph the ...

I unstrapped Jaden to let him run outside the exhibition centre where the children are running around with balloons and Jaden was just so happy to be running on his own towards any children that has balloons when suddenly a little girl, maybe just a little older than him came up to him and pushed him. WAH! I DAMN ANGRY lor to see the little girl push him and I was telling myself if the boy falls, then I shall go and give the little girl a piece of my mind. Jaden has done nothing to her at all.. he was just running around on his own and she has to come up to push him. Before I can get to him, Iz got to him and came back telling me what my son did.

When the girl pushed him, all I did was see him smile and I was wondering why my son was smiling when he is getting bullied only to get the real scoop from Iz.

When the girl pushed him, his first instinct was to grab on to the girl for balance and from there, his grip tightened, and with his nails not cut.. I really wonder if the girl did feel the same pain when he gripped me tight. I mean, if an adult like me could feel the pain, what more the little girl and Jaden just refused to let go after that. Iz have to take his hands away from the girl and the little girl just stood there and let him gripped on to her. *sigh*

The thing is I know Jaden held on to that girl's hand was because he did not want to fall down and he thought that the little girl was playing with him. That is how he play with us at home. He likes it rough, well, his father said better rough than being sissy-fied so I guess that was how Jaden reacted when the girl pushed him. I hope she learnt her lesson too by not simply pushing other people around next time.

At least I know now my son knows how to stand up for himself. =) I did not say anything or approach the little girl or her mother when all these happened because well, Jaden was not crying in the first place, Iz was there to pull him way and third, to see how my son will react in such matter and he did me proud alright!

Anyway enough of his first encounter with his first bully. As we were leaving, I bought three slices of Marshmallow Chocolate Cake for the little boy to blow his candle later when Hubby comes home. 6 more months countdown to the terrible two. That was what I heard. They call them the terrible two for a reason right? =)

Kissed!

The whole clan slept off at about 2am sharp last night after Jaden decided to play with his father after a whole day of not seeing his father since he woke up. The stickiness to his father is beyond words as soon as his father came home from work so I am assuming that he misses his father.

The baby slept till about 2pm this afternoon before he woke up to start his routine. *sigh* He did not even open his eyes when I fed him his milk at about 8am when his father left for work. Guess he was full from the milk that he just slept it all off...

I could not really sleep after Hubby left for work. All I did was just doze off now and then, wake up from time to time and well, decided enough was enough and turned the comp on and started doing some reports before getting Jaden's stuff sterilized. Took the opportunity to do some facebook-ing, blogs browsing and news reading while I could without having the little one trying to climb on to the chair with me.

After he woke up, changed his diapers, gave him his water bottle and he finished his water before I gave him his lunch. He must have been hungry as he finished quite a big bowl of the rice cereals. Then that is when his daily walkabout the house, checking here and there, stopping by the TV from time to time to check out the advertisements, come to bug me off the computer, even turned off the power once resulting me in slapping his palm and off he went to play alone with his toys.

One thing that surprised me most was when I was lying down on the couch watching the last episode of Beauty and The Geek, the little boy clambered on top of me and started showering me with kisses, left cheek then right cheek then left cheek then right cheek again till he decided that kissing mommy is no fun and demanded a piggy back ride instead. *aawwww* How could I resist him after those sweet little kisses without any attempt of teeth baring ready to bite?

At about 530pm, when I saw him yawning, I knew its time he wants his nap so I whisked him off for his bath, and then put him down for nap.. and now, my alone time, my lunch/dinner time before he wakes up.

Well, my dinner is cooking so I better ciao off now and eat and then go shower before the Boss wakes up from his nap.. ciao ciao!

好心分手

王力宏2008新專輯第一波主打-心跳 官方高畫質MV完整版

He walks

Jaden has now progressed from crawling and walking to just walking now. He has walked the whole house and even mastered the skills of just pushing himself up without any holding on to any support.

Jaden has this habit of walking to the kitchen and closing my kitchen cabinet door. He just have to have it close no matter what and then he will either walk away or hang around there for a bit before exploring other places in the house.

From climbing tables and TV cabinets, he has moved on to climbing on Hubby's workchair at the computer. A very very dangerous stunt especially when he attempts to stand on the chair after he gets up on it. Usually he won't get the chance to do so when Hubby is sitting on it but when it comes to me, there is always a big space left behind and there, he goes climbing on to the chair and then make me piggyback him back to the couch area.

He loves eating vege especially brocolli so now whenever I make brocolli dishes, I will put a few aside for him to snack on while we have our dinner. *pHew* At least I know now that I don't have to force vege down his throat next time or did I speak too soon right now? We will see, shall we?

Just last Sunday, when I took him out with Joy and we went to the 3K Inn Bazaar, both of us took turns to carry him while browsing through the clothes and BOY! did he struggle to want to get out of our hands and ealk around by himself. Of course, me being a mother and knowing all possible dangers that might befall (damage done by his kaypo liitle fingers or just people knocking him down just because he is way below eye level to be noticed at the moment) I made sure Joy and I carried him alright despite the abuse we received from him. He pulls our hair, pinches our face.. *sigh* My son can be really abusive I tell you. Anyway, the next day, I discovered the side effects of carrying Jaden too long. My arm now aches like crazy and its really proving that he has grown way heavier than a 10kg sack of rice. It can be real tiring carrying him for a long while.. thankfully he prefers to walk on his own now but him walking at the moment while we are out, will prolly make the outing 1 hour longer than it should be just because we have to wait for him..

He used to avoid drinking water, whatever reason I don't know why but now, when I give him his water in the small Avent milk bottle, he will just happily come forward to take it from my hand and drink it on his own. There will be times when he will just play by spitting out all the water but there will also be times when he will just be drinking water non-stop. I mean the whole 125ml emptied. *shakes head*

Now, after the Cheeko incident where Cheeko bit his diaper-ed butt and kick-ed him, he has learn how to respect Cheekie and Cheeko. He no longers crawls after them and pull at their fur hard. He now gently touch them or just go near them and start talking to them. Kesian he has to learn the hard way, taught by Cheeko but well, it sure did change his attitude in how to treat both of them right. =)

Shes going home.. again

In another 15 minutes, I will have to fetch mom out to One U to take the Aeroline bus back to Penang. Her reasoning was that she has to go back to fix her dentures and it will be about 2 weeks before she comes back here to KL again and company me take care of Jaden, who has been walking and climbing anything he could in the house.

After dropping her there, I have to rush home to take care of Jaden while Hubby gets out for his one day long meeting. This week is going to be one long tense work week and the when the weekend is over, or when this month is over, Hubby will get to heave relieve for a day or two before he gets back on track and starts working again... The workaholic I am married to... just glad that I get to go back to Penang at the end of next month with Jaden for my childhood friend's wedding and spend some quality time with my bestfriend at her place.

While at dinner last night at about 8 something, Hubby messaged me and said, "Of ALL times he has to poo, guess when?"

All I could imagine then was the reaction Hubby got when he catch whiff of the poo smell and go OH NOOOOO!! but since there is no one left to do the job, he has to clean up the little boy's butt while trying hard not to breathe. Well, Hubby said he breathe through the mouth while wiping the boy clean but he was still gagging. *sigh* Well well well, its one of the things he signed up for when he said he is ready to be a father. =)

Jaden stuck to me as soon as I came back and was babbling non-stop. He is so chatty but well, still baby talk la. He knows what we are telling him but he just refuses to speak those words that we teach. Sometimes I think he already knows how to say or pronouce those words but he just refuses to say it out. Like when Hubby asked him to say Daddy, he went and say MAM MAM MAM MAM MAM and when he is asked to call MAMA or MUMMY, then he says DADDYISH.. *sigh* and the little boy refused to sleep until 3am last night. I fed him at 12am and he started playing around, just refusing to sleep despite endless yawns and eye-rubbings, he just refuses to sleep. This boy of mine has been fighting sleep since he was a young boy. Is there really anything exciting for a baby to play at night? Hmm...

Right.. now that its 15 minutes, got to run.. and then come back, wash up well and ready to start a brand new day with Jaden, all by ourselves at home till Hubby comes back.

Toodles! =)

Girls just wanna have fun~

I just had one of the most fabulous night out with the girls. It all started with "I have craving for crabs!" and there it is, we made plans with the other three girls and voila, today, there we are having seafood dinner together and NO! Its not me that said that I had the craving.. Its NOT me this time!

Anyway, I picked Sonia up while Joy picked Tanya and Zairynn and we met up at Centrepoint before all jumped into my car and ooh la la ber-sesat to the Pantai Kayu Ara Seafood Restaurant. Its not exactly hard to find coz I googled it last night and it is just around some corner that we somehow know.. just that it was deep inside la and some kampung road with lots of all these car workshops along the way.

When we reached there at about 715pm, there was not many cars yet and we still got a table despite not making reservations and soon right after we made our orders, the carpark was already 3/4 filled up. Lots of people were already inside the restaurant eating...

Since today they did not have the meat crab, we have to settle for the flower crabs as well, other crabs such as the alaskan ones, australian snow crabs and the ireland roe crabs are just way too expensive for a KG's worth. We had the salted egg crab, butter cream mantis prawn, kangkung belacan and the fu yong egg dish.

The meal was good, company was great!

After the dinner, we had Joy to blow her birthday candles and *sigh* before she could blow her candles, when she was just gathering all her breath to blow, the wind blew it out for her! You should have hear all of us laugh! It was really funny!

We re-lit the candles and she got to make her birthday wish and all.. *aaahhh* cake! Coffee cream cake.. dessert after dinner.. feels so good!

It wasn't really expensive to come to think of it.. with a tapao-ed fried rice for 2, 4 dishes and a pot of chinese tea for all.. it was RM95.50. But well, of course its a different story when it comes to Tambun.. *sigh* am making sure that I am heading there this April!!!

woo hoo~ I really appreciate this night out with the girls..

Jaden's near-18-months-old milestones

Jaden is walking more and more each day. Its a good sign yet sometimes too much of a good thing is no good. No good when he keeps walking into one direction and that is into the direction of the kitchen. He has somewhat mastered the skills of turning around, balancing and head to wherever he thinks best has fun.

His few favourite words at the moment is MAM MAM MAM MAM MAM MAM MAM UHMMMM UHMMMM DADDISHHHH DADDISHHHH YESH YESH HUH HUH?

*sigh* He is turning 18 months old in a week's time. Ain't that fast?

He has about 10 teeth now. Still biting and attacking his father at any chance he gets. Brutal is the word to describe the attacks. No mercy for the father. As for me, he likes to pinch and his face is all scrunched up to be this little boy who is all geram-ed!

Lately, he has been climbing tables and climbing the tv cabinet to reach the Astro decoder and yea, he mastered those climbing skills already. Maybe I should try to let him learn other activities to channel his energy elsewhere much safer. His climbing actions always gives me heart attacks. One day, I shall just faint right there I tell you if he keeps doing such things.

He loves 'helping' out his grandmother when she hangs the laundry or folds them. You can imagine how 'helpful' he can be.. *shakes head*

Every time Hubby comes home from a meeting after a long day out, and if Jaden is still awake and walking around, he will walk towards the door, stand and clap his hands, smiling at his father, greeting the Botak. I tell you, this boy really knows how to steal hearts.

In the mornings when he wakes up before I do, he will do his new trick by putting his cheek next to mine and chant his urmmmmm.. as that was how I teach him to sayang people since he wont kiss, this is the next best thing, putting cheek to cheek. Now that he learnt all that, he is using it to his own advantage at getting our immediate attention. I tell you kids these days are really really very manipulative.

I will feel quite bad leaving him behind with my mother and Hubby tomorrow when I hit dinner with the girls but well, once a blue moon wont hurt.. Its time Hubby learn how to take care of his son for at least a few hours on his own... *wink*

Wrong time of the month

Two days ago, I just kept eating and eating. Bowls of rice after bowls of rice. That was like at about 5pm when I ate.. and then at about 7pm, when we were going home, Hubby asked if I wanted to tapao anything later for dinner and I went.. "Okay, Nasi Lemak please!"

"WHAT? YOU JUST HAD RICE AND YOU WANT RICE AGAIN? ARE YOU CRAZY?" was the reply I got.

*sigh* When one got to eat, they got to eat right?

In the end, Hubby tapao-ed 3 burgers and I had 2.

I was not even really full yet. I knew something was wrong with me but I didn't know what. Then I stole a sip or two from Hubby's iced coke and I soon ended up with a mild churning tummy. Damnit for being greedy!

Then yesterday, I was just feeling kinda either very ecstatic or either feeling very pissy. It just shows how my mood swing could swing from one extreme end to another. When I was at The Boulevard suites @ Midvalley, I was feeling oh so very happy like a bird in the sky and when I was at Tesco, with the skinny bitchy looking girl who thinks she is the prettiest, having her skinny butt blocked my way even when she saw me coming with a basket and a bag, she thought her butt was too skinny enough to give way which turns out APPARENTLY NOT and I have to say EXCUSE ME TWICE to her dirt filled ears, prolly filled with slime from her boyfriend's saliva to let me pass. Who goes grocery shopping in Tesco in stilletos anyway?? KEBODOHAN YANG TERAMAT TERLAMPAU! See, the anger? I was still cursing that skinny butt of hers until now.. there are just some people you see you want to slap!

and voila, guess what was the main reason I was feeling like that for the past two days?

No wonder laaa.. it was that time of the month today when 'aunty' came and said hello this morning!

Now I am assured its not me or body all gone wrong.. it is just the wrong time of the month....

Following Father's Footsteps..

.. or more likely his father's footsize...

Study the chart properly.

Now.. the chart says for a toddler shoe for the age 2years -3.5years is size European 20-24.

Jaden wears 24. *gulps*

Is he following his father's footsteps?

Finally, now since he has begun to walk, Hubby and I decided it was time to buy him shoes so he will no longer be the barefeet baby when he goes out.

I had my eyes set on this shoe shop since a long time ago as I find their kids' shoes really fashionable.

Today, we all came back with these...

Nice? They had red too.. but I guess Blue goes with most of his clothes.
Wait till he is a little more stable and wants to walk more, then more shoes to buy.. but for now, this pair will do.

p/s: They cost more than my Vincci shoes!

Speaking of shopping today, the haul of the day.....

Hubby:-
Loose pack of Grimlock activator

Jaden:-
A little aeroplane
Doodle Board
A pair of shoes from Treehouse
2 packs of Pureen Baby Wipes

Me:-
A FULL TUMMY from lunch/dinner

*burp* Right.. and as for now, got to go and continue watching the currently good game of Liverpool vs Man U...

See.. even Jaden is happy with the current results.. the second half begins now.. so laterrrr~
