Havin' some fun

People say pregnancy will soothe your temper down. Makes you more motherly. I beg to differ. I think, with the pregnancy, my mouth needs more rinses than before. The vulgarities that flies out knows no limit. Can't blame me tho. These only flies out when I am driving around in my little car. The kiasu-ism and stupidities are just too much to bear. I bet you will agree with me.

Yesterday, while a Merc decided that his car was luxurious and big enough to bully such a small car like mine. So he thinks he deserved to be let into a line that others have been patiently queuing and of all people, he chose mine. Little did he know, not only did his whole generation of family got cursed, hubby and I have this little laser pointer in the car and boy, did we have our fun. It irritated the hell out of the driver I guess because he kept turning back to see where the red light came from. Oops!! I am not sorry!

Had buffet for dinner last night. Hubby and I ate till we both could not move. *sigh* I missed buffets.

Now that I am preggers, I kept having recurring dreams that involves food. Everytime I dream, there is food. Hubby says I am crazy. Maybe its just something that baby is hinting? *gRin* Why I really wonder? It never happened as often as it does now.. funny.. but at least the dreams do give me a smiling face... food oh glorious fooodddd!!!

D . LeH . mA

She went off on her own. She took off and she never once got to thinking how many would have been worried bout her. Off for 36 hours or more, she did not even book herself a room to rest. Well, can't blame her for that but still .. walking around till its time to come back down? How much this time is she going to spend? Is she going to stay normal or go stare at others and make them feel uneasy. Is she going to be blabbering nonsense and start her singsongs and dances? What is she going to do up there .. those long hours.. Will she be able to tell time and come back down before she is left up there? I am practically so mentally and emotionally tired. I want to take a rest yet I can't. I have a responsibility to fulfil yet I can't perform it as I am so bloated. I have my own and the little baby's health to take care of. To ensure a healthy growing baby at the end of my 3 months. Why can't she behave? Why can't she be sane like others? She has now gone from bad to worse.. I do not dare to predict what comes soon after stages of her being.

Lets just say I nearly puked myself silly after only spending 1/2 hour on the xBox 360 playing not shooting gory looking games but Open Season.

Hubby laughed at me and shooed me to bed after that because if anyone were to see my face then, would have saw a pale greenish one and teary-eyed girl sitting on the floor looking so dejected. It was that bad.. actually very very bad!

Well, hubby.. what meant to be yours stays yours... I am fine with the DVDs, TV and Astro ...

nyways, I am glad for hubby. He finally got himself the gaming console after like 6 months of contemplating and waking me up from naps just to show me the X signage and then point to the BOX up the wardrobe and then do a 360 twirl. Yeap, that is my hubby for you.

Dunk the rabbit!

Have one ever bathed a rabbit before? Have you ever suffer the consequences then?

1. They will leave a scratch mark or two on you
2. They will look as if they are under nourishment -wet fur
3. They will be angry at you for the rest of the day
4. They turn their back on you whenever you say hi to them
5. They throw tantrums by biting your other half
6. They turned flufflier and softer

Penang

Last weekend was just plain wonderful.. only if hubby was with me but anyways I did enjoyed my journey back to Penang.

Mom picked me up and off I went to Baptain, my one and only trusted hairdresser so far who has not cheated me of my money. Dinner was seafood, where I had grilled salmon and claypot curry prawns.. yummy! and off I go next to supper with SChee at Gurney for some fried chicken skin and Leng Chi Kang. Penang and its food.. Since DVDs and CDs were so much more cheaper in Penang, SChee got me 4 CDs and 2 DVDs. I know I am such a sucker for all these pirated discs but hey, it does help me save a lot compared to oris.. well, no different from those that downloads.. hehehe

Off I go to Queensbay Mall for the first time in my entire life that I have been a Penangite. Sushi with SChee and Venus, who kept spilling her food on her white pants. It was just plain nice to catch up with friends you have not seen for quite some time. If I am not mistaken, I think the last time I met Venus was Chinese New Year 2006?

Evon and Chen Yong took me out for midnight apple pies and sundaes. How sweet right? We talked and laughed.. no one could actually believed that I am already a married woman and also pregnant! *gRin* Always a step faster than the rest when it comes to unpredictable steps in life.

Another night of seafood dinner with parents. Crabs with eggs!!! YUMMY!!! and of course, knowing me.. I could not resist taking a stroll down to the pet shop and got my mom two little bunnies to keep her company at home. One brown spotted one named Cookie and the One white one named Choobie. Both are black-eyed ones. But as I speak of them right now, Cookie passed away this afternoon. He was actually given free by the pet shop owner because the owner saw little surviving chance for Cookie and that Cookie was very attached to Choobie. =( I guess Cookie is now in rabbit heaven, and not limping anymore. Poor Cookie.. he was born a limp in all three legs.. Bless his little cheerful soul tho..



Now, I am back in KL with my hubby and the rabbits. Getting naughtier and naughtier by the minute. Looking at them and comparing to Choobie? Choobie is just the size of their one head. So can you imagine how big these two rabbits of mine are? 4 Choobies equals 1 Cheekie... *sigh* they grow up too fast...

Anyway, now that I am home sweet home with my hubby, its all back to the norms again.. *sigh** if you are wondering if my hubby did missed me when I was away? I doubt not.. He said the house was much more a peaceful, quiet place and that he don't eat that much when I am not around.. *shakes head**

I have been kind of rude lately. I don't like what that comes out of me (verbally). I do not mean to be rude, nor do i mean to hurt, which I assumed I did but the questions and actions are so repeated that it hits my boiling points. I am truly sorry yet I am too egoistic to admit it to your face. I love you a lot. I also love the other family members. I truly hate it that sometimes without you realizing, you are trying to keep me for you and yourself only. I am all grown up now.. I will soon be a mother. I only wish you can now judge with your right mind.. It breaks my heart so bad to see you this way and it shatters me to be in betweens.

On my own in KL

Went over to Menara AmBank myself today to have my road tax done. Surprisingly, this time round, it was fast and efficient -meaning I do not have to walk to and fro 4 times from KLCC-AmBank-KLCC-AmBank-KLCC just to have the road tax done. Why 4-5 times to both these places you ask? Well.. if I were to wait for AmBank to give me my roadtax, it means I am only allowed to collect the road tax the next day. What? And go back down to KL? NO WAY!!! So i did it my way and took my car registration and have my road tax done at the KLCC post office. Kan senang and more efficient this way? One day kau tim deh.. and do you know whats the best thing that surprised me? I had to ask the post office lady to repeat herself.. just in case I heard wrongly. I only have to pay RM20 for the road tax.. When did the the road tax changed its price? Cooool!!!!

Hoping that I can get to go back to Penang like tomorrow. Hopefully there are still bus tix for me.. Not sure tho.. it depends on what time I get up to call the bus service centre.. need to pack my bags too, just in case. Hubby will be left home alone to take care of the baby rabbits and well, do his work in peace without having to scream at me to eat vitamins 24/7. Technically hubby would not be alone too cause I am sure Iz would come around and keep him company. What are bestfriends for? **sigh** I will miss hubby but I know what awaits me in Penang.. great cheap foood!! Can't wait to go back to eat and eat and eat and eat!Now, I am only crossing my fingers that SChee can make it to go out with me..

Hubby bought me 3 for the price of 2 books at Borders today. Complaining tho about the type of books I read but well, lets just say the naggings and complaints are worth it when you have with you three good books to drown yourself with whenever wherever. Thanks hubby!

Got to go and babysit the rabbits now, whos busy tearing and tossing the guidebook like roti canai makers..

Hmm.. maybe before bedtime, shall steal hubby's ice-cream to mam.. the pros of hubby sleeping earlier than the wife! *gRin*

The Heart Stealer

Came back from the monthly check-up on Baby. Doc Aldrin was nice enough to capture one nice little photo of Baby putting his finger in his mouth (think The Thinking Man)

yeap! Baby was actually doing that, arching his back, turning here and there and of course kicking the doc's hand away when doc was checking Baby's position. Naughty right? Not only was Baby in his thinking style, he was rubbing his nose and all.. so cute.. just 25 weeks and already stealing hearts.. **sigh**

Lesson Num# 1

Things I did and learn over the weekend:-

• Watching 2 Movies and 4 Dvds in a row over the weekend can be quite tiring.
• Eating too many Bakchangs can cause indigestion that lasts through half a day.
• Gulping down durian ice-creams makes you fart and burp unnecessarily. (i mean the smell)
• To have 2 beautiful rabbits hopping around in the house, clanking their bowls when its food time is very therapeutic.
• Not going anywhere for the weekend, staying home and cleaning up is rather relaxing.
• There are actually salted bean-curds out there. (tried making tong sui and it turned out salty-sweet.. bLEk!)
• Cakes are nice to have from time to time.. **sLurp**
• Eating off hubby's 20 years of effort's hand-planted mangoes is very satisfying.

Lazy Sunday

Woke up at nearly 4pm to hubby talking into my ear. That was his revenge on me after I woke him on Saturday afternoon. Had Aunt Lin's bakchangs and her stewed pork.. yam yam.. while watching two DVDs with hubby. **Sigh**

Kinda nice to just laze around in the house, doing nothing at all except ber-bonding over DVDs and Bakchangs and Corn and Tong Sui and more Pork.. food food o.Oohh gLorious fooooood!

Was supposed to attend another Father's Day dinner with Edmond and the rest of the Yap family but my body refused to let me move around. So hubby have to cancel the dinner plans with the family and let me rest.. see? Hubby sayang me.. muaxmuax.. ehhehe

All those food is making my tummy churn tho.. got to run.. got business to attend to.. *gRin*

**No intended sarcarsm, or degrading the real interview that took place in the magazine. The answers replied by hubby was plain stupidity to entertain himself when the the wife is driving and ignoring him. Hubby was just plain bored. Just for gags!**

Now can you imagine what I have to put up with everyday? Trust me when I said hubby was laughing like a hyena when he asked and answered his own questions. How distracting can that be when you are stuck with him in a moving car and you are concentrating on driving. Harzardous to the driver I would say!

FATHER's DAY
is around the corner. Last night, hubby and I went to celebrate an early Father's day dinner with Father-in-Law and the rest of the Yap family who was in KL. Isaact joined us for the dinner too because we went back to the same restaurant that we held our wedding for him to have a taste of the 9 course meal he missed while he was in UK.

Met up with hubby's grand-uncle too who was present for the dinner. Its scary to think of it but seriously, I nearly mistaken his grand-uncle for father-in-law's cousin bro or brother. They looked about the same age, somewhere in their 60s but nooo.. grand-uncle is already in his 80's. Cracking jokes over wine and good food, everybody had a great time.

Thinking of Father's day.. *sigh** would not be able to celebrate it with my father this year.. thats when technology comes in and saves the day. Will call him tomorrow to wish him and when I get to go back to Penang, will treat him to a nice family dinner. I miss home.. Hubby, Isaact and I was supposed to make a trip back to Penang this weekend which got me so hypered and then slapped me with a "We need rest this weekend dear and I need to work" Just imagine how the music suddenly died down.. but oh well, as long its for work, I totally understand.. next time then...

Last Wed

Went to Meridien for a launch last Wed. This time around, it was pretty relaxing compared to previous ones that we had. Media turnout was pretty positive for the fact that it was held so early in the morning. Hubby and I was really thankful and appreciative that they made it to the launch. However, that is not my intended topic. =)

I have heard so much about Le Meridien's food, that they were one of the best in town and all that jazz.. well, I have to admit their breakfast was fab compared to lunch. Couldn't help myself to tea or coffee or else I would have gulped down several cups of tea with honey and coffee with milk. Conclusion, food was just so so. Think I prefer the La Bodega's food. *gRin*

Last Wed was also RinaLee's 24th birthday. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINAREE"
**sigh** time really flies. Soon in about 6 months time down the road, it will be my turn and I am turning 24 with a baby in my arms.

Was actually planning to head back Penang this weekend but I guess the plan is scrapped. Hubby says he needs rest and get on with work, work and more work. Well, logical but still.. its Penang. I have not been home since CNY. How long is that? I missed my assam laksa, fried oyster, char koay teow, ais kacang, fried chicken skin, hokkien mee, bangkok lane fried mee and many more.. Wanna go home!! =(

Speaking of home, I just remembered. Have to remind Hubby to make reservations with restaurant for Father's Day. Father-in-law wants to celebrate... got to go and get things done now..

Carelessness

is my middle name. Came home from grocery shopping and thought I'd be a good wife and cut my hubby some mangoes, which ended up mostly in my tummy anyway.

So there I was happily cutting the mangoes, when the cutting board slipped and fell onto the floor but before hitting the floor, it hit my knee and then my ankle. **OUCH* instant bruises I tell you.. Now, not only I suffer the pain from the blisters I got from my new flattie shoes, I suffer the bruises from the cutting board. An ideal housewife, I am.

I am pigging more and more lately. Just had dinner outside with Hubby and the moment we reached home, hubby cooked me boiled brocolli with mushrooms and bacon. Right after that, I had 3 mini cornettos, a mango and 7 strawberries sprinkled with sugar.. and I am still hungry.. I am now eyeing my Julie's Kuil Belanda Coklat Rangup.. aarrrgghhhh.. HOW?? damnit! Dun care la.. I am just going to munch on whatever that I see on the dining table.. afterall i memang is eating for 2 now.. **excuses excuses**

Oops.. we did it again!

Last night was my fourth time in Klang and yes, I admit I will still get lost if you were to put me there. Its like a different country all together with the roads and the junctions.. Thank God it was Isaact who was driving.

Hubby and I is supposed to be in Malacca today but guess we overslept again. Can't blame him coz its been about 9months since he last saw his bestfriend and they were hanging out at our place till about 6am. They were quiet all right except for hubby who occasionally woke me up from my slumber with his over-excited voice. Wonder what the boys were up to? hmm...

Two more weeks to check-up on baby.. baby has been kicking inside me much more often now.. I think baby likes mtv and tv dramas.. not only is baby a night-owl but also a couch potato... Isaact and Grace was such a dear to buy baby a souvenir from UK -two Liverpool baby bibs.. so cute!!!!

o.Oh.. and hubby just told me that Thevi is getting married. So sweet of Stuart to give her the best birthday present of her life -marriage proposal. Tis' the season to get hitched people! =) Congrats to the lovebirds! Okai.. so whos next on the list this year?

Cracked

Thats what I think I am right now. Cracked. As in my head is cracking up.. had this splitting headache since last night and still it would not recover yet. Had been taking naps and drinking lots of water.. trying to avoid panadol unless I feel I cannot suffer it anymore. Can anybody tell me why am I having this headache? No.. I was not in the sun.. No.. I was not caught in the rain... All i did was just wake up from an afternoon nap of 2 hours and there it went CRACKED on me.. aarrrgghhh...

I think its all the drillings of pipes in my house that is giving me all these headaches.. some arse complained that his apartment below mine is leaking water and requested that we do something bout it. So the landlord has to dig up his house and fix a new pipe.. now water smells like lead.. eeewww..

Now the house is all dusty.. damn the housekeeping I have to do after they are done. Nope.. the drillers will still be back tomorrow to clean up their hole in front of my house.. I am like having a pothole right in front of my main door. Wanna do a barbeque there? Can be a makeshift bbq pit.. *sigh* Can't wait for them to be done with the pipes for once and for all.. making me suffering toilet trips coz they have to shut off water supply when they work.. and the best thing, I was like in need to head straight into the toilet for some business and I have to hold it in till like after 6pm.. so that was where I decided to sleep it off and woke up with this headache..

Weekend full of surprises

Last weekend has been rather busy. Three of the same concert nights in a row hubby and I have to attend. I have nothing to complain as it was really done nicely. Hubby and I had witnessed the pre-concert to the concert and it was wonderful and the crew, singers and musicians were so passionate about their duties to make the concert work. I have to give two thumbs up to the Musical Director and of course, his co-partner in all this!

I am now at my 23rd week.. about 3 1/2 months more to go.. have been eating non-stop, getting hungrier and hungrier.. still no weird cravings except for ice-creams and more ice-creams.. made a bet with hubby that the most I will reached is 55kg.. he says 58-60kg for me.. what do you guys think... now when I think of it, 60kg might be the case... oh NO!!!!

On another happy note, Isaact is back! It was meant to be a surprise for us but his Gf advertised the date big big on MSN.. guess it gave his surprise away but still... Yay! At least hes back and will be mostly here to help hubby out so I can rest more at home and not stress myself out on the road and curse those blaady drivers.. need to chill my temper on the road.. =)

B for Bunions

Do you know that feet comes in different shapes other than sizes too?

Well, mine has a bunion and believe me when I say it is no fun and fun at the same time to have one.

Wearing heels or covered shoes is a bitch because when you take them off, all you see is a chilli red swell on your bunion. It is painful of course but call me sadistic, the more painful it is, the more I enjoy rubbing it.. more pain.. aaaahh..

Well, thank God I've got a partner who enjoys bunion rubs as much as I do. Only that he prefers the bunion to be rub gently while for me, I like mine rough.. *gRin*

Well, got to run off now to prepare for my bunion rub.. You should try it.. you will learn to love and appreciate it..

Fatness

I feel like a whale... bread soaked in water... a walking tong minyak... *sigh* yet I am happy to be pregnant with little Yap... =)
