Fantastic Baby !!!!!!

Big Bang ALIVE Galaxy Tour 2012 in Malaysia

Its concert time again for the crazy mama!!

I am loving the K-pop scene very much these few years and how can I miss out on BIG BANG which totally rocked the night last night?

Big Bang's ALIVE Galaxy Tour 2012 in Malaysia is the only leg that is held in an outdoor stadium. Their other concert stops are done in an indoor stadium, so it makes it special! Better still, when its raining in Malaysia and the fans are still roaring loudly, cheering for the boys and rocking the night away together with the boys, singing their hearts out despite the damp weather.

I have got good company for this concert. I went with my Penang house neighbor, YL. Yeap, you heard me, my neighbor of 19 years and another mutual friend of ours. How great can that be?
Big Bang bringing us together? =)

At first when I heard all tickets were sold out in just less than an hour its was sold online and at Farenheit 88, I was a bit disappointed. Then I waited for people to sell off their tickets but most of them were selling it at rockethigh prices. In Malaysia, this is what they call 'goreng harga' .. I almost gave up and thought maybe its ok if I sit this concert out but as the days drew nearer, my butt started to itch, my heart and mind telling me that I would totally regret if I really sit this one out.. so I started browsing forums .. and asking YL whom I knew. had wanted to go but she, too, were looking for tickets.

I suggested to her that I will help look for tickets too and that we go together? and within minutes of that day, I found someone selling a pair of tickets for RM191 at the original price and the ticket price were in our budget so I quickly contacted the seller and bagged us those tickets.

A week before the concert, I made plans with YL on where to meet up so we can go to the concert venue together.

We agreed to park at her work place, which turns out to be where my friend, YitFong, was getting married. Talk about such coincidence! Someone whom I turned down his wedding invitation to attend the concert. Yeap, I turned down the 13 years of friendship for 5 young, good-looking boys. *GRIN* HOW CAN I TURN DOWN THE YOUNG BOYS???? TELL ME !!!!

FY, the other mutual friend with her sister and brother-in-law, met up at the same place too and off we went, taking the monorail to the concert venue. It was really very convenient as the monorail stops directly at Stadium Merdeka ( Maharajalela stop).

I thought we were already quite early but we heard there were already people lining up since last night, lining through the rain, which poured rather heavy earlier in the afternoon.. and when we were inside the stadium too.

We lined up for about an hour before they started letting us into the stadium and we made a mad rush to the front of the line.. unfortunately, there were already quite a lot of people before us but we were not too far back either, so we could actually watch the screen and if we tiptoe real hard, we could see the boys' head on the stage. Yea, the stage was rather low and small compared to the SM concert stage. Not to mention, the sponsored Samsung screen on both sides  were darn tiny. I think I am spoilt by SM concert and LeeHom's big LCD screen.

We got in by 7pm, and then... suddenly the clear skies started to drizzle and then pour !!!! Thankfully we purchased ponchos outside, so we were not drenched in rain, but more of drenching in our own sweat! UUrrrGGhhh !!!!!

Big Bang delayed the start of the show a bit until it started to drizzle again, and the best thing was, when they started, the rain stopped completely !!!!!

Nobody really cared that they got wet, nobody cared about the rain.. all we wanted were the boys and that was what we got.

It was a really good performance, a good crowd of fans who participated and being K-pop fans, they have fanchants to each songs and almost everybody knew all the lyrics to the songs. WONDERFUL isn't it?

T.O.P was just so sexy beyond words ... the voice, the rap *drool*
Daesung was just so cute with those smiley eyes and his infectious smile :)
Taeyang and his English ...
GD and his swag *sigh*
Seungri and his exciting to be here .. *gRin*

but surprisingly, them being Korean artiste, they actually spoke English to all of us.. it was a nice change compared to Super Junior who spoke Korean to us, expecting us to understand them and their English were rather good.

The concert sure started and ended with a BIG BANG, thats for sure.. how can it not be when Taeyang stripped his shirt off in the end, revealing those YUMMEH YUMMEH abs and the sexy tattoo... some guys just do look sexy with tattoos.. Maybe its the 'taboo' badboy factor that added the sexy-ness to it..

It sure was a good night last night, despite rain and all .. I would do it all over again.

Just waiting for the next group of young boys to come to Malaysia to perform .. Super Junior M ?

=)

Youth Preservation project

Hitting number 3 next year got me panicking now.

My skin has always been dry and dull-looking.

No matter how much sleep I get, I will still look as if I am very tired and have not slept for months.. the dark circles and eye bags don't help either.

I really look like a panda bear but then again, panda bears are cuter anytime .. I am just plain scary without the makeup on.

Its amazing how my husband and son don't get nightmares just by looking at my naked face.

This year, however, I started to notice that fine lines are starting to develop around my eye area, and the crow's feet, uurrgghh... I feel so old looking at me looking back at myself in the mirror.

Even if I try covering up with make-up, and my make-up skills are like only 3/100, the most basic ever ... with no knowledge at all on how to apply concealer properly, eyeliner, eyebrow drawing, blusher... failing very badly using eyeshadows and blusher.. *sigh* and then suddenly the caking under the eyes showing everybody the lines which looks like the dry cracked desert ground ..

So, one day, I told Hubby that I need some shopping money to get me some preservation help to my skin.

Luckily Hubby had RM400 shopping voucher with him, and I took it away from him without hesitation and called up Z to go shopping with me.

Previously I had spent about RM300+ just on Biotherm range but they made my skin breakout like mad.. so I guess Biotherm is not on my list of preference now. :p

Originally I wanted to try out Dior Hydra Life skincare range but damn, they are really way too expensive and that day, the sales assistants were rather picky with their customers so too bad .. then I thought I wanted to give Clinique Repairware Laser Focus but it seems its still not sold yet.. and I heard many good things about Advanced Night Repair serum by Estee Lauder so ...

I ended up at Estee Lauder and got these..

Damage?

Hmm ... RM490 which means I had to fork out another RM90 :(

RM200 for the eye cream and RM290 for the night mosturizer.

The rest -toner, serum and day mosturizer are free samples given by the sales assistant so that I can tryout the range and see if it works for me.. because if it works, you know its a definite return to Estee Lauder counter for me.

Today is my first day applying the range ...

I am giving myself 3 months at least to see if I can see any positive difference in me, which I am going to start sharing with Jaden his supplements. One cannot just rely on skincare range alone.. I need vit-Cs and lots of antioxidants too.. :)

This also means, I have to apply the skincare diligently and not once every two three days, which I do have the tendency to slack off ...

So.. wish me luck in my very own 'youth preservation' project and lets see if it can perform miracles on me.

Self Help :: Feeding himself

Next mission :: to teach him how to use fork and eat noodles .. :)

Would you still love me tomorrow?

Looking at this picture right now, makes me think about the future.

Would he still be taking this type of picture with me when he turns 20? 30? 40?

Would we still have that carefree smile together, snapping candid photos like this?

I now understand why people say, no matter how old a child is, he/she will always be a baby in their parents' eyes.. and that is how I see Jaden in mine. Forever my baby boy.
