The day was so hot that his sweat made his forehead turned red, hence the hair being tied up. He is still being mistaken as a girl until now.. does he look like a she?

Quitting ...
Well... Hubby didn't really quit smoking as in going cold turkey but I actually gave him till year end to quit. It was him himself that said by the time his son turns 2, he would quit hence the 28 Sept as his benchmark but well, guess it is now prolonged till 31 Dec 2009.
So now, his promise and how-to-quit smoking tactics would be:-
29th Sept -29th Oct : ONLY three sticks of cigarettes a day
30th Oct - 30th Nov : ONLY two sticks of cigarettes a day
1st Dec - 31st Dec : ONLY one stick of cigarette a day
by 1st Jan 2010, he should be clean off and off the ciggie for good!
if by any chance he breach this promise of his, as in if he takes more than the promised sticks a day for the particular month, I get RM50 for a stick he puts in the mouth, doesn't matter if he buys a new pack from outside or given by friends or puffs by friends. The additional puffs will just costs him money and into my Emily-For-Fun FUND... =)
So who wants to place a bet now that he will be clean off cigarettes by 1st Jan 2010?
I am trusting him so well, we shall see when Jan comes...

Happy Birthday, Jaden Simon Yap!
and he turns 2... This is the very first part of Jaden's 2009 2nd Birthday celebration, which was the 12 o'clock midnight celebration with his Kai-Yeh, Grace, Gynette & PeiSan, Hubby and I and TommyTKC who came a lil later after the candle blowing mini ceremony. I shall let the pictures do the talking for now...
So different compared to last year when he was almost all puzzled why everybody was clapping and singing to him. This year, he participates together and enjoyed every single minute of it. *sniff.. My little boy is all grown up*
me feeding him his Birthday cake.. letting him indulge in chocolate @ 12 midnight..
*tsk tsk* what were we thinking.. (think children & sugar high)
*tsk tsk* what were we thinking.. (think children & sugar high)
There was just one thing we forgot to do.. that is, to take a group photo of those that were there with us last night celebrating with Jaden. *slaps forehead*
Nevermind! Will do so when Sat comes!
Despite eating the cake that was rather sweet, Jaden fell asleep almost instantly when he was put to bed without any struggles normally like what he does.
... and that was now his 12 o'clock midnight Birthday celebration went.. He went to sleep a happy boy!
Just waiting for tonight's family dinner for the only three of us.. =)
**updated @ 30 Sep 2009 (just because I was tired after the dinner session and no luck of going near a comp the whole of 29 Sep 2009)
So off we went to Uncle Chilli's to have Jaden's birthday dinner just because I have won an RM80 food voucher from PJ Hilton Zest's competition.
It was a giant huge big monstrous mistake!!!
First of all that pissed me off was that I had made a reservation for a table since 3 weeks ago and when I called them up at about 6pm to re-confirm, the guy on the line told me that there was no such reservation made under my name. BAD BAD BAD already! ( - 5)
Then, when we reached there, it was a pub kinda restaurant with NO no smoking area. ( - 100)
I won't complain much about the service there because the waiters were ready to be at service so well.. they get a ( +5 ) for it.
Food wise? well, it was BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD..
Lets just say I had to rush to toilet once I reached home... *sigh*
The food is not worth the price paid. Sucks badly. Really. The pizza is the most KERING pizza ever made. Dave's @ 1U is so much more better anytime! For the price of the seafood platter.. served with the most KERING lime that you can only squeeze out seeds instead of juice, you might as well pay for any japanese buffet price and get your money worth!
The dinner is so bad, its one of the biggest mistake of our lives to even think to want to go there in the first place. That trip is going to be one of our first and very last to Uncle Chilli's.
Anyway, just a few more pics of Jaden being happy running around and sitting on the sofas in the hotel lobby instead.

Checking out his two latest addition to his very own Transformers collection We stopped at TRU 1U after dinner just to let him choose his own toys and he chose these

Jaden loves Genting Highlands
We went up quite late, well, no thanks to me for some delay here and there and we set off at about 345pm instead of the planned 2pm. It was a really nice cooling drive up, only some setbacks when it came to parking. Luckily, we got a parking space in the First World Hotel carpark instead of the ones outside.. brrrr...
"Daddy, can you not kiss me in front of all these people?"
"OK Daddy.. enough of looking at hot aunties, lets take a photo now"
We reached Genting at about 520pm as you can see from the clocks in the pictures above. There were so many people up there, all because its public holiday both in Malaysia and Singapore for a Raya break.
The entrance fee to the outdoor theme park would have costs up hundreds for four of us to enter, which will prolly end up being a waste of money because none of us four wants to line up and wait for rides and plus, this time round, we are with a TWO YEAR OLD, the main reason why we went up to Genting in the first place. To let the little one play!
So we went back to First World and bought two ride tickets for the Carousel Horse and Ferris Wheel. The line was sure long, especially for the Ferris Wheel but it was worth the RM8 a ticket. We went round and round and round and round and round so many times. As for the Carousel Horse, Jaden enjoyed it so much he didn't to come down. I have to tear him away the horse and proceed on to the Ferris Wheel. He liked the Ferris Wheel too because he gets to see a lot of things from high up and well, the kids screaming about got him excited as well.

The Ferris Wheel takes me round and round... round and round.. round and round...
Starving, we proceed on to the 2nd floor for dinner. By the time the stroller hits the escalator, Jaden's head was already 'fishing'.The boy was so overwhelmed by all these things new and fun to him, he got tired and fell instantly asleep after the rides.
That gave us some peace to eat our dinner without any hands trying to pull down plates and cups. =) Jaden woke up right after we finished our dinner. Talk about nice timing!
Hubby and Iz then went off to find some kaya balls to feed the boy because it would be quite a hassle to make him milk. The big kaya balls would be filling enough to last the boy till we reach home.
We made a stop at the Chin Swee temple as they have this lantern exhibition. Jaden had a blast running around the open space. The lanterns lit up the night and well, what could be more perfect to have your husband and child with you on such a beautiful cool night. *sigh* It would have been perfect if we could stay a night but the pricing for the rooms on public holidays are ridiculously over-priced!

"Kai-Yeh, you take my photo from the back when I run towards Mommy ok?"
"Mommy, see.. I am running!"
My Mommy loves me!!!!
The pagoda
Didn't manage to meet up with Ms. Ho this trip round as she was busy in meetings and well, I was busy keeping my hands and eyes on Jaden.
All in all, it was a wonderful trip, makes Hubby and myself so happy to see Jaden enjoyed himself tremendously. This trip would not have materialised if not for Jaden's Kai-Yeh and Grace too.. *muax to those two angels!*

Its Monday again!
Don't you think the days passes by real quick this year? Time has really been moving very fast in my case. I wake up, do the daily routine and before I know it, its time to put Jaden to bed and the whole process repeats. Today might be Monday and suddenly, the weekend is here, and then so is Monday.
I took the opportunity during last weekend to go buy Jaden some jeans and short pants because he seems to have more shirts than pants. Something nice, which he can wear out to.. and so we ended up at Ikano where I remember the factory outlet store that sells quite nice branded children clothes and also the big Padini store that houses the MIKI kids clothing. Got the small little boy one pair of jeans, two short denim pants and a short sleeve Ralph Lauren collared-shirt. The previous week, we got him a red checkered shirt from OshKosh, so he could wear for his birthday and also then, for CNY. No need to go on a mad rush looking for red shirts then and anyway since the sale is still going on, why not grab the opportunity to get all these kids' clothing for 50% off?
Finally after contemplating for so long, Hubby and I finally found the perfect toy box for Jaden to keep all his toys in. Its the big big roller storage plastic box and it only costs RM27.90 at Carrefour. Tesco has nice ones too, but we rarely could find the right cover for the storage boxes in there. It is as if they only sell the boxes without lids. Jaden loves his toy box so much that he will climb into it to play with his toys. Everytime I keep the toys back in, I am sure that there will be three out of the box. Jaden sure work fast in making sure that he leaves his marks around the living room area.
I received a call this afternoon to ask me to bring Jaden for casting for some diaper shoot. Sadly, I don't think I can do so because it requires him to be in diapers, half naked I am sure, and dancing to some music... Jaden has this ONE BIG ASS BRUISE right below his left knee. Don't know where he got it from. I am suspecting it must have been the McD baby chair at Centrepoint or the little one has been running around knocking into stuff. He tends to run sometimes with his eyes close. More challenging? 'chi kek' maybe?
Jaden has learn to fear the cane now. At least it will help stop him from doing all the forbidden stunts in the house but at times, he will try to test our patience and the power of the cane too. He received one mother of all caning, just one swipe down the leg from the father because the small one threw tantrum and thought he could bite his father for revenge too. Judging from the amount of teeth he has in there, I am sure the bite must have been real painful to make the father cane him. *gRin* Me? I just sat there and wanted to laugh. I mean, Jaden deserved that caning afterall!
Lately, Jaden gets very excited when he sees me putting on the Baby Einstein DVD for him. Hubby and I bought him the Classic Collection Vol.1 Baby Einstein over the weekend and he is very interested in all the 4 DVDs they have in there. It is rather a good DVD as they have all these puppets that just stimulates the child's brain and the music soothing... I like it myself too cause now Jaden knows other facial areas other than just nose. Hey Chris, maybe you would want to check it out for Arianna? =)
o.Oh and before I forget about this one thing.... These two days, Jaden adopted a habit of wanting feet massage before he sleeps.. its either that or massage his feet till he sleeps soundly. *shakes head* He sure knows how to enjoy life huh?
I hear the father complaining outside now.. got to go and handle the kid now. So toodles, till then, maybe next Monday again.. have a great week ahead!

Jaden being Jaden
I just went into the room to take something and came out to this sight that greets me
"Look Mommy, I took out my own diapers"
Look at the smug look ever so proud of his own doings!
*shakes head*

Starting young..
wanna-be hiphop boys who loves to wear their pants below their boxers, sometimes showing some ass crack...
*double sigh*

How I want to....
I know I have not been blogging regularly like I used to 2 years back but sometimes, when I get my chance to use the comp, all the words I wanted to pour out just dissipated.
I want to blog about how Jaden can be so naughty, yet cute at the same time. How he throws his tantrum and nobody showed him how. How he got caned real bad yet he is not scared. How he fell down head first on to the floor, doing a 360 flip and me now worrying about the effect it is going to be on him. *sigh*
How Hubby and I caught our pet rabbit Cheeko trying to mount Jaden's blue rubber ball and successfully humped it twice, thus making the ball officially HIS and HIS only. YES! My male pet rabbit humps balls, sometimes Grey colour T-shirts too...
How I am trying to plan a little birthday party for Jaden's TWO YEAR OLD with our group of friends and friends only. Ok.. maybe just my sister because she has Howard... =) Trying to blend his birthday party cum lantern party for the kids too.. cake has been ordered.. now just the caterer, the location and guest list.
How Hubby cooked spaghetti bolognese and mmm.. its been really a long time since he last cooked for me. When I was pregnant.. fuwah** no need to ask also got food served readily for lunch and dinner and supper and breakfast if it is demanded for.. now? *shakes head* Funny how some men will just treat their pregnant wife so super duper 100% butler service style and after the baby is out, the focus shifts to the baby and the baby ONLY. THEY DON'T GIVE YOU THE SAME FOCUS ANYMOREEEEEEE!!! but well, you know I love you still right? =) Well, not to say Hubby treats me bad but well, I just don't get to eat the same amount I eat when I was pregnant.. maybe its time to get pregnant again.. hehehe *gRin*
How I have craving for steaks, japanese, korean and more steaks but having to suppress it all in because I don't want to get fat. Having a double chin in me is already bad enough, more fats to add on to my thighs and arms just won't do. Got to cut down on food intake. Got to cut down on food intake!
How I feel like chatting with Ms. Ho who hardly seems to be online these days... and how I hope the Feb holiday plans my girlfriends and I are planning will work out beautifully.
How I just want a cup of good coffee and some bread dip in olive oil to munch on.
I am thinking about food again. *dang* Guess I better do some housework to get food off my mind.. I am procrastinating on housework AGAIN!!!!!

RM2 -Best Investment ever
I invested in something that cost RM2 and it was well damn worth it.
It helps making life more peaceful and in order especially when it comes to a small little monkey climbing wherever he could hang on to (dangerous / high chairs).
So what is it that costs RM2 and I am so happy with?
The trusty good old cane! ROTAN!
Finally, after months of threatening to go to SS24 area during Sunday afternoons to get it, I got it on Sunday morning near my area. Better still... don't need to run so far to get it.
Hmm.. the small one has grown to known the cane quite well, when he is throwing tantrum for no reasons or being stubborn and wanting his way. Can't have a brat in the house can we?
So well, at the moment, the cane is the answer... *sigh* Why didn't I get it earlier?

Being a girl
means the word shopping is involve!
I have now gone back into online buying e-shopping frenzy and that sure did burn a hole in Hubby's pocket. See how I say his pocket and not mine? hehehe
Its just now things that I kind of like is popping up and why not grab them and not regret? I used to have this mindset where I shall just wait and see if other better offers come along and if they don't, then only I shall return to buy those that I saw initially. I learnt it the hard way and now, I buy first if I am sure I love them.. will do some blogshop hopping to see if there are any better counter offers in the pricing but do that within the same hour. =)
Lately, I just got myself this one dress. Really really comfortable when worn and is thinking of this other one. The boutique is just nearby my area, but its not something that I see I want NOW type so this one shall just wait and see... =)
as for shoes.. o.Oh within this week itself, I already bought myself two pairs of heels and I love them to bits!
Bought one from LushSerendipity RM100 cheaper than the one shown in this picture from this one website.. This website do sell beautiful heels but damn expensive.. but well, guess sometimes patience do pay off when you decide to hold back that purchasing monster in you for a while. I got the black coloured one coz thats the only colour sold by LS.
Bought this one from TheKookyThing for half the price sold in Baci.... those two pictures below which I 'curi-ed' from other blogs are the cage heels from Baci and they sell it at RM109... but then again when the address is in Bangsar, things do tend to get expensive (rent = $$) *gRin* so happy with my buy that is really only half the price! I love it when it comes to a good bargain on these things.. but I also heard the exact pair of cage heels that are in demand now can also be found at Cheras pasar malam. o.Oh?
I likey likey... but for now, shall stop the shopping mania in myself for a while.. sometimes Hubby's pocket do need a rest.. =)
mine mine mine at last!!!!! =) =) =)
