Jaden loves Genting Highlands

The trip to Genting was not pre-planned. It was suggested by Iz over Sunday lunch and well, off and up we went to Genting Highlands the next day, which was Monday of course.

"Is Kai-Yeh here yet?"

We went up quite late, well, no thanks to me for some delay here and there and we set off at about 345pm instead of the planned 2pm. It was a really nice cooling drive up, only some setbacks when it came to parking. Luckily, we got a parking space in the First World Hotel carpark instead of the ones outside.. brrrr...

"Daddy, can you not kiss me in front of all these people?"

"No lah.. I am only trying to point out that hot aunty to you at your 9 o'clock!"

"OK Daddy.. enough of looking at hot aunties, lets take a photo now"

We reached Genting at about 520pm as you can see from the clocks in the pictures above. There were so many people up there, all because its public holiday both in Malaysia and Singapore for a Raya break.

The entrance fee to the outdoor theme park would have costs up hundreds for four of us to enter, which will prolly end up being a waste of money because none of us four wants to line up and wait for rides and plus, this time round, we are with a TWO YEAR OLD, the main reason why we went up to Genting in the first place. To let the little one play!

So we went back to First World and bought two ride tickets for the Carousel Horse and Ferris Wheel. The line was sure long, especially for the Ferris Wheel but it was worth the RM8 a ticket. We went round and round and round and round and round so many times. As for the Carousel Horse, Jaden enjoyed it so much he didn't to come down. I have to tear him away the horse and proceed on to the Ferris Wheel. He liked the Ferris Wheel too because he gets to see a lot of things from high up and well, the kids screaming about got him excited as well.

The Ferris Wheel takes me round and round... round and round.. round and round...

Starving, we proceed on to the 2nd floor for dinner. By the time the stroller hits the escalator, Jaden's head was already 'fishing'.

The boy was so overwhelmed by all these things new and fun to him, he got tired and fell instantly asleep after the rides.

waiting for our food to arrive...

That gave us some peace to eat our dinner without any hands trying to pull down plates and cups. =) Jaden woke up right after we finished our dinner. Talk about nice timing!

Hubby and Iz then went off to find some kaya balls to feed the boy because it would be quite a hassle to make him milk. The big kaya balls would be filling enough to last the boy till we reach home.

We made a stop at the Chin Swee temple as they have this lantern exhibition. Jaden had a blast running around the open space. The lanterns lit up the night and well, what could be more perfect to have your husband and child with you on such a beautiful cool night. *sigh* It would have been perfect if we could stay a night but the pricing for the rooms on public holidays are ridiculously over-priced!

"Kai-Yeh, you take my photo from the back when I run towards Mommy ok?"

"Mommy, see.. I am running!"

Both Daddy and Mommy making me pose with them in front of some dragons.. *sigh*

"Daddy... I am telling you that there is a BIG BIG insect on top of us!!!!!"

"FREEEEDOM!!!!!!!!!!"

Having a meaningful chat with Mommy

My Mommy loves me!!!!

The pagoda

Didn't manage to meet up with Ms. Ho this trip round as she was busy in meetings and well, I was busy keeping my hands and eyes on Jaden.

All in all, it was a wonderful trip, makes Hubby and myself so happy to see Jaden enjoyed himself tremendously. This trip would not have materialised if not for Jaden's Kai-Yeh and Grace too.. *muax to those two angels!*
