We often used the first quote when we went through breakups, and using that quote makes us feel a tiny weeny better that we have experienced love but true love is really hard to come by where two souls stay faithful and ever so in love with each other, where their love grows for each other everyday. Ain't that sweet? but then in reality, the numbers proved that humans do stray apart even after pledging their undying love for one another or a love that fizzles out ... Sad but true...
Come to think of it, I think quotes are made up to console us who desperately needs positive thoughts on ugly human nature. *sigh*
