37.5F

Woke up early this morning at about 8am and found the boy lying on the bed, wide awake but not active. Usually when he wakes up, he will probably trash around and wake Hubby or I up but today, he was just lying in, ter-menung only. So I tried to feed him water to wet his dry lips and he pushed me away. Unusual! Something must be wrong.

Put my hands on his forehead and found it a bit warm than usual. So are both his hands and legs. Touched my own forehead and Hubby's for comparison and none of us felt as hot as the little boy. Then I suspected that the little one ain't feeling well.

Woke Hubby up to take care of Jaden while I quickly went to freshen up and prep my mom ready to bring Jaden out to Dr. Altaf. I had never been that fast in my life. The clinic opened at 9am and by 9am, I was out of the house.

Jaden was surprised he was out of doors that early. Reached the clinic at about 930 despite it being a 15 minutes drive away from my house. 15 minutes add-on due to morning traffic jam. *sigh* Found a perfect parking spot near the clinic and you know what? Thinking I was already rather early at the clinic, there was 5 other children before Jaden. Woah! Sick children everywhere!!!

Dr. Altaf took Jaden's temperature, checked his ears, lungs, throat and breathing and diagnosed Jaden with sore throat cum fever. His throat is very red and getting swollen, thus the not wanting to drink any water or milk. 37.5 F was his temperature.. and only he has some nose blockage problem due to the sore throat and flu and all.

Prescribed panadol for children, sorethroat & flu syrup and antibiotics and VOILA! RM110. My first expenses of the day and its already 3 figures! Woo hoo...

Now Jaden is sleeping off his medicine... hope he gets well soon. Poor little boy!

p/s: He is weighing at 10.5kg at the moment and Dr. Altaf says its the correct weight for his age! So don't say he is thin. He is at the right weight!!!
