Trip back Penang -Noelle's & Edwin's wedding~

Woke Jaden up at about 11am and quickly fed him full, wiped and changed him and Mr Abu called. He is downstairs waiting for us.
When we got to LCCT, it was a new thing for me because I have never been there before. So while figuring out whereabouts to check in, then to the waiting lounge, Jaden decided he wants to climb out from his stroller. Got to bribe him with biscuits to keep him seating.

Plane was delayed for at least 1o minutes. *sigh*
There was a kind Japanese lady who helped me carry my shoe box and Jaden while I folded the stroller and left it at the bottom of the stairs for the AirAsia crew to keep.
We have got the first row. Cool!
Jaden was not interested in the plane at all. In fact, he was more interested in the safety instruction manual, 360 mag and the menu on board.
The Japanese lady helped me again when we touchdown Penang. She helped carry Jaden while I carried the stroller up the stairs and all. *phew* Thankfully she helped. If not I also don't know where to run around looking for the stewardess to help me.
Father and mother was already waiting for me when I pushed Jaden out.
Jade was so excited to see his grandfather and well, was having fun in the car wriggling around, taking the opp as I was tied down by the seatbelt.
We went to eat Char Koay Teow before returning home, fed Jaden, bathed him and let him nap before we hit the wedding. That boy konked out for 2 hours straight.. luckily.. gave me all the time to bathe, dress up and put on my make up...

and yea, I wore my red shoes despite the nail-less big toe.
Emily = Ai-Mei-Li.. and there is a saying that says "Ai Mei Li bu yao ming"-(mandarin). *gRin* (To rather be pretty than to care for life)

Every of my friends seems to like Jaden and he, vice versa. Only that, it lasted till late and that is when Jaden started showing a bit of temper. Jaden slept all the way home and well, he didn't even budge a single bit when father carried him out from the car and on to the bed. I changed him and all, and he slept till about 530am before waking up for feed and continued sleeping till about 11am.

It was really great meeting up with my school friends. It is almost like everybody else is still themselves back in 99 and well, just that each have partners or spouses already. I feel so old. Speaking of which this year would be our 10th year of graduating from high school.

Met up with my cousins on Tuesday. Jaden's 3 aunties. He was asleep nearly throughout the lunch but still, at least they got to meet my son and me after nearly 3 years of not meeting up.
Father then took us to eat my fav codfish meal for dinner. We rested back at home then. Didn't runaround much either coz my friends have either all gone back to work in their respective countries or they went travelling... =(
Packed my bags and all and then, well... put Jaden to bed at about 12am then.

Woke Jaden up at about 11am to feed him breakfast so I can make it in time to feed him another round at 2pm to ensure he don't go hungry while we were at the airport.
Plane was delayed again and this time for about an hour.
Luckily there was a family with children to keep Jaden company. In the end, they became friends.

The boy, Raphael was holding on to Jaden's hands when the plane was landing and while one went YOOOO HOOOOO WE ARE IN KLLLLLLL , the small one was laughing so hard, u think he was tickled all the way when the plane was landing.

An airstewardess helped carry Jaden down the plane for me and he was just being a good little boy in her arms. Must be pretty girls he like!
He slept as soon as I pushed the stroller and that was how he was until we reached the toll near home.
He then, was telling the cab driver the directions home.. and when both father and son met at the bottom of the apartment, they were like long lost found friends. Berbonding gila siut.

and that pretty wrapped up our Penang trip.. only when Jaden can walk and eat more solid food like rice and all, then only I will bring him down for a longer trip.. these 3 days back home is enough to rejunevate me from the lifestyle in KL. I love PENANG!!!!!! I missed PENANG!!!!!

Jaden made friends

Everybody,
Meet Raphael and Gabriella ... =)

Both of them and their mother is Jaden's new found friends. In fact, they were like bestfriends...

Jaden made some friends while he was holidaying away in Penang. Yes.. while we were waiting for our delayed flight back to KL, he decided he wanted to make friends with a friendly French family.

Look at how happy he is in the photos. He didn't even want to come back to me. He 'kiaped' his legs around the lady refusing me to carry him. *shakes head*

Best Pedicure ever!

Remember how I said whenever I have an event to attend, I get all sorts of uglies to distort my appearance?

Well, I was so careful this time round, to wash my face at every opportunity I get so my eye won't get swollen like it usually does.

I make darn sure that my nails and toe nails grow to a certain length that will enable me to do a nice mani and pedicure...

Well, guess what? I managed to get the best pedicure ever done nearing 1am last night. It is so good, it only has to be done to the big toe and woaaalahhh, it is so beautiful, I am doing it injustice if I wear my red shoes to the wedding..

and it costs me a freaking $$$$$$$RM82 for just a toe...

What pedicure so keng chao rite?

.......... ................. ............................ ... ................................ *SWALLOWS SALIVA*

Well.. have you ever seen your toes without the nail?

I have before.. when it happened to my thumb when I was a kid.. and now, at 25, history repeats itself but this time with my big toe.

I don't have the gruesome pic about the toe without nail but I have got the process of it coming off.. the doctor which slowly pulled it and then cut it off the skin attached.. all without painkillers. Its fucking disgusting yet its awesome! I am a hero standing the pain... but the aftermath ain't nice. I don't get to wear pretty shoes at the moment.. dang!*

All in my name that only such things would only happen to me.. lifes great don't you think?

and o.Oh on another note.. Jaden just slept off the night without drinking breastmilk last night. Is it a sign he is ready to wean????? Hmm...

p/s: Joy, doesn't this remind you of something similar that happened years ago?

At wits end

Jaden is not being himself today or is he? He has been misbehaving, crying at every opportunity.. don't want to be left alone in his cot, even with cartoon on. He just wants me to carry him or let him be free on the floor but since he is prone to knocking his head on the floor or any hard surface, the floor is off limits to him unless I sit and watch his back for him, which I can't do either all the time because I have got housework to do before I head back north this coming week.

He has woke up crying since 6am and has been on his worst behavior. I thought the last of it I would see coming from him was days after his birthday and now the monster in him is unleashed again. Is it because of teething again? Could it be?

Trying to be patient but sometimes his nonstop crying can drive a cow up the wall, so don't even mention me. Hubby and I got so frustrated that we left him in the cot, while sitting on the couch ignoring him. Of course the little boy did not let us off easy. He cried and cried and cried as if he got tortured and suddenly *s i le n c e*

What? Silence I say?
Yea! S I LE N C E

The little boy must have been so tired, he fell asleep while throwing tantrum and now, I am going to check any more housework to be done. If not, am going to wake him up now before he gets all freshened up and not want to sleep when our bedtime comes.

*sigh*

I am at my wits end already. Sometimes I feel like a failure not being able to understand what Jaden wants but sometimes I just feel like shutting off and telling him off that being such a demanding yeh-man boy won't get him anything he wants... Is it time I start harsh discipline on him? I am not as lenient as his father is tho. The father's mouth might be just loud and harsh but I have no mercy when it comes to whacking.. not proud of it but still, a boy needs a good whacking from time to time if he misbehaves, that is what I think.. if not he might just grow up to be a ruthless one.

I believe in the saying "spare the rod, spoil the child!"
Yes! I am old school in some ways...

*sigh* I pray his bad mood will be gone when tomorrow comes..

Early start to our 2009 weekend!

All of us have been awake since 6am today.
Yes! 6am on a Saturday!
Why? Ask Jaden...
He just woke up and decided to cry and cry and cry and can't get back to sleep so Hubby and I got up reluctantly and took him out to the living room where he happily sat in his babychair and started playing.

*y a w n*

We are going out for an early breakfast in a while and hopefully when we get back home, Jaden would want to nap.. he only slept for 3 hours today. All of us only got to sleep off at 3am when Jaden decided that he no longer wants to play and demand for feed and sleep.

*s i g h*

Its a life changing experience when a kid comes into your life I guess.. and these are some of the sacrifices (lack of sleep is one of them) you make as a parent...

*dang! I am still y a w n i n g g g g g g g g g !!!*
