You're my Honeybunch, Sugarplum
Pumpy-umpy-umpkin, You're my Sweetie Pie
You're my Cuppycake, Gumdrop
Snoogums-Boogums, You're the Apple of my Eye

And I love you so and I want you to know
That I'll always be right here
And I love to sing sweet songs to you
Because you are so dear

My peace

After getting a harsh lashing last night, I woke up today and well, did what I had to to give myself a little peace..

Fed Jaden his brunch (he woke up only at 230pm), washed Hubby's laundry, defrost the drumstick and boil the chicken broth to cook his porridge, fold my laundry and hang his clothes the instant the washing machine is done with them, vacuum the whole house with the little one tagging along my side, sometimes trying to climb on top of me when I bend down to vacuum the far end of the couch, Jaden poo-ed by then, so have him wiped clean before taking him into the bathroom to give him his bath, put him down instantly for nap with a cane in my hand so he will behave and stay quiet and bored in his bassinet till he falls asleep, cut his fingernails short so he won't pinch others in his trial class tomorrow, change the rabbits' papers, went off to bathe and wash my sweaty hair and voila, when I came out from my bath, Jaden already woke up. He only had an hour nap, kind of good too so he can sleep earlier tonight.

Lets see, the boy wakes up at 230pm, put to nap at 530pm and woke up at 630pm.. should be tired enough to fall asleep easily by at least 12am right? As I am typing now, I put on his Elmo dvd so he can jump about and dance around till his energy is drained. Hopefully the dvd will do that to him...

Anyway, porridge was done by the time Jaden woke up from nap, so I fed him a bowlful of it which he finished without any signs of wanting to puke it out. *sigh*

Then went out for dinner at Ikea because Hubby wanted to eat meatballs after seeing it in the Ikea catalogue.

Hubby is out now having a meeting with one of our mutual friend, which I hope he won't come back home till Jaden falls asleep.. I like my peaceful Sat...

Tomorrow, I am going to take Jaden to Kizsports & Gym for his first trial class and see if he can fit in and play well with the kids. I hope he likes the Little Rompers and I pray hard he don't go round pinching other kids when he gets excited... I caned him, I whack him each time he tries to pinch me and tell him sternly NO and stil he will sneakily come up to me and do it... may this be just a phase..

Right, the video of his is soon going to be over soon, better go prepare his milk and then a quick warm bath before bed for him.. wish me luck he falls asleep fast and not roll around the bed for an hour or two.

Mothers dont have rights

I was told that I no longer have rights to watch my dramas, no right to do whatever I want just because I am now a mother. Is it true that mothers no longer have rights to have some time to themselves? no rights to be with friends and catch up from time to time? no rights to achieve her own dreams?

Had an argument last night, more to a one way argument where he 'trashed' on and I just keep quiet. Its always good to stay quiet and be accused of everything that has to be thrown at, be it right or be it wrong.. its always best to just be mute in such a situation. Some points striked me hard, some points just got my mind floating away escaping to somewhere else. Body here, mind elsewhere.

Its really frustrating to wake up to everyday getting scolded, getting blamed, getting accused at, getting trashed, its best to be silent and not even talk at all as silence from me would be golden in this house of mine..

I wonder if anyone out there experienced the same thing, getting scolded on the day before the wedding, on the wedding dinner itself, on the morning that you are looking forward to go and sign the marriage papers, when the baby has colic, when the person wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, when the person is feeling hot and just lash out when he feels like it.

Life is wonderful isn't it? Sometimes a walk down to the garbage bin, the letter box is really a relieve/a breather and well, its back to reality again after that.

P for Procrastinating

and I am the Queen of Procrasti-Nations if there is such a land.

I have not really been a good housewife, nor a mother in terms of taking my place in the kitchen. Food I cook sometimes do turn out a lil too funky for Hubby and Jaden's taste and well, lets just say Jaden prefer his father's cooking anytime compared to mine. So sometimes, it really dampens me and sort of put me off cooking for a while. In the mean time, Jaden only eats rice cereals, milk, snacks in between like cheese, cheesesticks, fishballs, and from our plates sometimes, brocolli, fried anchovies, noodles here and there. He has not been taking in rice for quite a number of days already. A week maybe. Such a bad mother!

Anyway today I thought I get up early -10am and go out and buy brekkie/lunch for Hubby and I, while quickly go to the fresh mart near my apartment to grab some drumsticks and cook Jaden his porridge. I did all that.. and even bank in for some online purchase I bought.. and I just laid my eyes on another online stores that sells cute baby-tees.. shit!

Now, the only thing I am procrastinating is cleaning up the rabbits and mopping the floor and well, the second round of laundry just have to wait until Hubby does his business in the toilet today. He hates the toilet being wet when he is in there. *sheesh* anyway, well, hopefully I will get these three done and well, maybe turnover my wardrobe and rearrange everything again if I can still find some sanity after entertaining Jaden too and the constant checks on him not being up to mischief... *sigh*

I really envy those SAHMs that could really do everything everyday and still keep the house spick and span. I am such a slob! *shy*

OK.. might as well now go start on the rabbits.. before I get all lazy or Jaden gets up from bed.. yea, hes still sleeping.. he decided he only wanted to sleep at 6am, tossing and turning and playing on the bed.. the trick to make him sleep, one strike of the cane, just pain enough to make him emo and sleep it off.. *shakes head...*

Expensive Education

Now that Jaden turned 2, I am starting to worry about his speech, and his social well-being on how he is going to interact with other kids while learning useful stuff other than picking up things he learn from his DVDs.

I have a few playschools/schools set in mind for him, which of course don't come cheap but well, its more to playing than learning just yet so that is why these schools are in my top choices, followed up by other kindys that I kind of like.

1. Kizports & Gym for their Little Rompers session. Its about RM160 permonth with RM160 depo and RM40 per annum to pay up. I am not sure if it is a 3 day thing but one thing for sure is that parents get to accompany the kid to the class and well, its only 50 min per class. Damnit! The one tihng good about it is that it is in One Utama, so damn near to my place so well... *tee hee*

2. Play n Learn but... the main page advertised that its mainly for 3 yos onwards. Jaden is only 2.. so well..

3. Insights Kids. Found it through mamapumpkin's website and thought its pretty good just that would it be mostly education as in papers and writing and all? The address, too, suggest a hole in a pocket but well, will check it out too since its for the boy.

4. Gymboree can be rather expensive too. Found a mother posting online :-
(1) Trial Class cost RM48
(2) Annual Membership fee RM150
(3) Term Fee Cost RM420/ 12 weeks
(4) Yearly Package Cost RM1780/ 48 weeks

and that is for the newly opened branch in Tropicana City Mall... expensive?

5. Tadika Diyana but that will only be when he really ready for school, which I guess Malaysian kids' norm age to enter is 4? keeping my options open but it does seem like a good kindy right? Now with the kindy fees, gonna set back about RM5000++ yearly.. why is education so expensive these days?

So who wants to have a football team of kids now? I am happy with one now..

I know for sure Jaden will be going to a government school for all I care because I would rather save the money and put him in a good university and pay for the tuition fees unless he is smart enough to get scholarships... =) but well, won't think that far off now.. will just start with a good foundation in a good kindy for him.
