ter-bongkar!

Dang! Hubby does read my blog.

"Jaden, Jaden.. tell Daddy did you drop off the bed today?" and I looked over at the computer table which responded with an accusing glare. *SH*T!!* and there I went trying to explain what happened. *sigh*

Anyway Jaden did not sleep until about 230am or 3am. Whenever his eyelids get heavy, he will toss left right and just when you thought he was going to doze off, he starts crying for no apparent reason. Tried feeding him to sleep but he will also just end up crying. In the end, I covered him blanky from neck down and ignored him. Hubby and I then just started talking about the day's event and soon, bored, Jaden fell asleep on his own. Maybe he just wanted to hear his daddy's voice. Sucha daddy's boy. He is more closer to his dad now that he is bigger compared to when he was just a newborn.

However, Jaden woke up a couple of times struggling and crying out for milk from time to time. If I am not mistaken, about every two hours? *sigh* This time round, I really had a sleepless night. The night before I already had a sleepless night due to my nose stucked and I have to breathe through my mouth and last night, by Jaden's cries. If it carries on tonight, I am going to get a really terrible headache.

Hubby and I got to get to Tesco or any Hypermarket to get Jaden his rice cereals. He had finished them in less than a month. Tomorrow I am going to cook him chicken porridge again. This time with ABC stock. Aunt Lin said some kids love them and ABC stock tend to be sweet too. So guess the stock will now consist of Tomatoes, Onions, Potatoes, Chicken and Sweet Corn. As for the rice grain itself, I will put the sweet potato with it so when it is cooked, I can mashed the sweet potatoes together with the grains to make it even sweeter. Jaden loves it anyway. He has got to learn how to take meat.. Can't be vegetarian can he? Afterall both his parents are like MEAT EATERS!

Am not sure if Hubby and I are going to take Jaden out shopping for his swimming float but Toys'R'Us are having this promotion if you spend more than RM250 on toys, you get a RM50voucher. Hubby confirm sure spend about there already plus Jaden's swimming gears.. and this promotion ends June 2. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow. Depends la on Hubby but probably today I think.. *gRin*

an Awful Mommy I am

I just left the room. Less than a minute just to turn on the monitor and wait for blogspot to come on.

"AAeeekkk" came from the bedroom. Somehow something tells me that it was bad even before i opened the room door to check.

True enough, there was Jaden on his fours, slided down the bolster and onto the floor, stunned but not hurt. If he was. he would have cried out loud but he just kept quiet and looking stunned. Comforting him quietly hoping Hubby did not see what happened. I dare not tell Hubby in case I get a shelling. More like 'nuclear bombing' it would be if he found out.My heart really dropped at the sight of Jaden on the floor. Thankfully, the bed was on the floor and not on the bed stands. *pHew*

I feel really really bad at what happened. I am such an awful mother!

I am not planning to tell Hubby. Depends if he still reads my blog, if not then Ssshh... but if Hubby reads it, I hope he wouldn't kill me.

Today, Jaden went to pasar malam for his very first time. He got really excited at the sights and sounds. In the end, it was Hubby and I who were tire out by the little wriggly baby in our arms. Maybe we shall just wait till he can walk before we hit the pasar malam again.

I still can't get over it that I have been an awful mommy today... aargghh *smacks own head!*

Drama in the family

Today Hubby woke up to a call about one of his family members. I won't say who but sure was full of drama of what happened earlier in the day. Well, it did not exactly all go well in the end but at least the drama ended safe but am sure there were a lot to be pissed off about. So in order to make sure that everything was good, Hubby and I and Jaden went over to the in-laws. With hope that Jaden will work his charm to put back the smile. Luckily Jaden behaved well and plans went as planned. =)

Jaden & Grandma Lin

@ Granpa's

Aunt Lin also invited us to go over to her place on Saturday to pick up bak changs!! YAY!! Our favourite!
I absolutely love bakchangs, mooncakes, bak kua and tong yuen. Very much a Chinese after all despite all the name-calling by Hubby.

Hubby just told me of his plans to get some more Transformers next month. Aarrgghh.. come to think of it, I am sure most of you out there would think he has quite a lot already. What to do -his passion and current hobby. Sometimes I think he gets too engrossed with the toys till he gave Jaden and i us a transformers nickname. I of course, is Megatron and Jaden, the young Optimus Prime while Hubby is Bulkhead! *shakes head* Guess its true when they say no matter how old the man is, he will always be a boy at heart.

The monopoly is mine tho.. =)

I have been sneezing nonstop today, with a very very very runny nose. Wonder who is talking bad about me? Hmm...

It drips again!

Jaden turns 8 month old today. We brought him to Toys'r'us last night and got him a puppet frog. Well. technically he chose his own gift and is very very much pleased with it. He absolutely loves it. He chose a florescent green coloured frog.

Hubby pulak got himself a couple of Transformers Animated toys that hit Toys'r'us last night.

Me? Nothing.. but I discovered something. That the old Marks and Spencers at the One U Old Wing is now Nichii. Wonderful news eh? At least for me its wonderful news. Now if there aren't any sizes of what I want at The Curve, I can always drive to One U to check them out rather to drive all the way to sungeiway.

I haven't been able to blog these few days because Hubby was just at the comp nearly 24/7 browsing through his things. Leaves me no chance to even go near the computer.

Last Saturday, Sharon came down from Kluang to shop. I guess all those shopping is to pamper herself for her birthday. Later at night, she came over to my place to hangout with Joy and I. This time, she brought a new guy -Kenny. Supposedly its her boyfriend. Hmm.. Nyways, we all girls had a nice night just catching up, gossiping and playing with Jaden. I missed those girly times. Jaden seemed to like Sharon too. It must be the hair. Jaden seems to like to play with girls that has long hair.

I have also been busy myself -had been watching the TVB dramas like mad. RIght now, I am watching War Of In Laws 2. 5 more episodes to go. Can't wait for Hubby to get me Catch Me Now. I am stuck at episode 14 because the discs that Tommy brought over for me weren't complete. Ggrrr.. make me kanchiong only!

oH ya, Jaden knows how to say Da deeee already but it depends on his mood la. He will call out to his father when he feels like it or when he cries for his daddy's help. He calls me "Eh Eh Eh" yeap.. Mommy has now become "Eh EH Eh". *sigh*

My aircond is leaking water again. Just two nights ago, I knew something was about to happen and surely it will have to be something to do with the aircond. True enough at 430am, it leaked water. Thankfully it did not dripped down on Jaden. Off-ing it quickly, three of us just have to settle with the fan. Hubby and I were ok then.. but poor Jaden, he couldnt really sleep after that. Tossing and turning and tossing, sweating.. finally he fell asleep because he got too tired... SO now I moved the bed to the other side of the room and couldn't care less if the air con drip. I rather my son not suffer the heat and let him have his peaceful sleep. Its just now Hubby have to cramp with the wall. *gRin*

Face to Face

I woke up to Jaden's face in my face today. I turned over and there he is so happy and excited to see my face facing directly at him. *sigh* How-lah not to wake up and play with him?

He woke up and turn himself 180 degrees to my side of the bed, just to wake me up and then pat pat me on the breast because he wanted his morning milk. My little boy knows what he wants and he makes darn sure he gets it. *shakes head & sigh*

I hear them ringing...

o.Oh glorious sounds of the wedding bells. I just received news of my friendsssss who are going to take the plunge next year.. Can't wait.. o.Oh glorious sounds! Next will be "When are you guys going to start baking the bun?" *gRin*

Second time round colic

We went out to One U last night for some shabu-shabu dinner because Tommy was craving for it. We went to this place called Plus One Shabu Shabu. Tommy was attracted to it's RM1 dishes. As usual, driven by his hunger, he forgot to read the fine prints. It was only one dish a day out of the many dishes displayed on the banner. So cheating!

Anyway, the boys were the ones ordering as I was busy entertaining my little boss who finally manage to find a baby chair that he can sit quite comfortable but with the help of a thick blanky and a pillow to stick left and right to make sure he don't fall to his sides. Yea, Jaden still can't sit steadily unsupported. Guess what baby chair?

I thought of getting one for him at home but then again, since space is limited in the house and that feeding him is ok with him seated in his walker... aah.. scrap it! We need no go wasting money like that do we? I am trying to buy him a potty now. Hubby and I saw one that caught our eye.

It can be found in Babyjaya -My Dear brand. Somehow My Dear's brand is starting to appeal to me because I find it good and sturdy. His walker leaves a lasting good impression. This potty is only RM49.90 compared to others that I saw that costs about RM149.90. That is like RM100 more. RM149.90 for a little plastic potty -they can go kiss the arse!

Last night at about 4am, Jaden suddenly woke up crying non-stop. He had colic again. He wouldn't stop crying till I have him seated straight up on my lap, rubbing his tummy and rocking him gently. Soon, followed with several loud farts, burps and then a rush of poo as if he had not been shitting for 5 days. It all just came blasting out. The dad was having a tummy ache and the son, too. Thank God, my sense of smelling ain't that superb like Hubby's. I could still take in strong stenches and hold myself from puking. Sometimes I suspect my nose is spoilt. Hubby and I had to console, comfort and entertaing Jaden for almost an hour half before Jaden fell asleep on his own after I tucked him in.

Today as I was feeding him, I got distracted by Amazing Vacation Homes and forgot to continue stuffing the spoon into his mouth, guess what did he do to his mummy? He shouted at me. oh My oh My! My little boy knows how to marah orang already. So garang! So I told him off for shouting. I don't think kids should not have that type of shouting at parents' attitude. He finished 5 tablespoons of rice cereals and wanted more. Didn't give him more tho, coz he will have a second helping later in the evening for dinner. Just going to let him take his bath and then milk, then his afternoon nap.

Speaking of naps, I wonder how many naps do a 8 month-old take. Jaden sometimes only nap once a day (2 hours max) or only 2 naps a day (1 hour each). Is that normal? Hmm...

Failed bergung-ho-ing

There are a few times when I thought I have got a lot to blog about. So gungho to want to blog about it but when I am seated in front of the comp, with fingers readily to type away.. I would think, who would be interested to know about what I just went through or maybe it will be a boring read. Then I will just signed out and not touch the computer till I feel gungho again. There was a time when I had to blog almost everyday but now, guess taking care of Jaden, seeing to his food preparation and not helping, my TVB 'si lai' drama, it has taken up most of my time.

Yesterday I wanted to blog about how happy I was to see my SueKingKong and her Jo at my place. How Jaden loved the attention showered by both of them although Uncle Jo kept pinching his cheeks. =) How they both are so old school to really bring buah tangan when they visit. *sigh* SueKingKong never fails to crack me up with her straightforward-ness.
Jaden woke up on his own this morning and started blabbering away. He is doing it right now as I am typing away. I wonder if he is blabbering or singing to his Sesame Street but still, its so cute. Hes only not cute when he shouts and cries (misbehaving -attention craving -L.O.A)

Gwen will be coming back in Nov, maybe late Oct. Yay! Can't wait to see her again but then I doubt this time round, she won't have much time because she has to attend her brother's wedding in KL and Pg. So I guess when Jaden turns one, one kai-ma will be missing from his birthday party. Nevermind la, got so many other aunties! *gRin* I plan to bring him to Aquaria KLCC when he turns one to see the underwater life. I am sure he would love it. Hubby says when he turns 9 or 10 months old, maybe we will expose him to the swimming pool and let him go swimming for the first time since he shows interest in playing in his own bath tub. Gonna search for the right floats first. Can't wait! Can't wait!

Got to go fuk si my little big boss now. Bath time! So till then till I ber-gungho, ciao ciao!

Lil Dirty Cat

Feeding Jaden sometimes could be really fast OR it could take almost forever for him to open his mouth to mam mam. He used to love his Rusks but now he is taking a little while to finish his two cookies (melted into cereal form)

I realized that he loves his vegetables. Funny tho when we add a lil of meat taste in it, he scrunches up his face. If pure vegetables, he loves it. He finishes his mixed vegetables cereals less than 15 minutes. No persuasion or distraction needed. *sigh*

I have already bought the oats and prunes rice cereals. Just waiting for him to finish the pack of mixed vege rice cereals, then we will move on to the new pack. Going to let him try mashed apples today. Wonder if he will like it?

Happy Birthday TKC

Tommy came over last night to our house to sleep as usual before he leaves at about midnight to go get ready for his work. He is a tour guide and his duty in the tour company is to bring the mainland Chinese that flew in from Sg to come to KL, Melaka and Genting. So he has to leave with the bus driver at about 3am to drive all the way down to Sg to wait for the Chinese tourists to arrive from Changi and then drive them down to M'sia grounds. Poor thing must have not slept the whole day yesterday because when Hubby tried waking him up countless times but failed. In the end, Hubby and I and Jaden went out to tapao dinner back. In the process, we bought Tommy a birthday cake. He sure was surprised... Happy 24th Birthday Tommy TKC!

Jaden allowed Tommy to carry him. Must be because Jaden feels safe at home being carried by strangers. Afterall his dad was there keeping a watchful eye. *gRin* This time round, Tommy came and went but left me happy.. he left me some 'si lai' drama to watch to fill my past time when Hubby is busy football manager-ing away on the comp. Yay!

Hubby says this pic looks like Tommy is praying instead of making a wish...

Aunt Lin's Birthday Celebration in KL

Last night was Aunt Lin's 60th Birthday and the family decided to hold the dinner down at the Golden Palace Restaurant in KL. Hubby and I were praying hard that Jaden would be able to hold on till the dinner is over without his usual grunts and naggings of wanting to go home.

Knowing well that the dinner would stretch to more than two hours, and Jaden would require to eat, I started cooking his porridge (Corn and Carrot stock -Sweet Potato porridge) at about 12noon just to make sure that the porridge by the time its cooked, will be all mushy and soft to his liking. We then packed his sipping cup with warm water, the porridge almost full into his bowl, his toys and diapers. Hubby says to bring Jaden out for more than two hours is like packing for camping trip.

We reached there at about 630pm but Pa-in-Law, Aunty Diana and Herman were already there. Jaden was rather stressed out by the environment that he just didn't smile. Soon after, everybody arrived and food was ordered. Jaden were then squirming around, starting his engine to want to nag and complain. Hubby and I have to take turns bringing him out to see fishes and crabs but he was more interested in looking at the escargots.

When everybody started eating, Jaden also started ngek, ngek-ing. He too wanted to eat. So out comes the porridge and *fu wah* I have never seen him ate his porridge mouth after mouth. There is no need to ask him to open his mouth. Its automatic. Luckily he is able to take solids now, if not, I do not know where to run to to breastfeed him.

He didn't really misbehave. I guess the only time he started crying out loud and struggling and didn't want to be pass around the family was when they got too noisy and rowdy and plus, he was also very very tired. He fell asleep in Hubby's and my arms when we were carrying him to the car. Poor boy. He slept all the way home from KL.

Hope dinners like these won't be frequent because there is no way ho sei I want to risk being caught in a dilemma between my son and the respect for the family. Maybe we should just send a rep there -either Hubby or I, never three of us again until Jaden is bigger.

Anyways, dinner was good, only that Hubby and I did not get to eat much. Me =due to staying away from seafood and Hubby (boycotting Sharks' fins and taking care of Jaden).

Below are some picture of the family:-

Diapers for Jaden

There have been some issues raised when it comes to diapers for babies.

The usual question would be

1) Do you use disposable diapers / cloth diapers or the traditional lampin for your baby?

Me? Well, I use disposable and ONLY disposable diaper for Jaden. Why? My reasoning? I just don't have time for all the scrubbing and washing and drying and then back to scrubbing and washing and drying again. I do not have time for these when Hubby's and my laundry and not to mention Jaden's laundry is already filled to the brim of the laundry basket.

I have to say tho cloth diapers did appeal to me once but when the thought of the cleaning etc.., it puts me off completely. I love those cute little designs, those fashionista-looking bum wraparound but they are expensive. Some will say that disposable diapers are also expensive but then when you think about it, it is so darn convenient!

So, what brands of disposable diapers my baby use?

1) MAMYPOKO Newborn and S size (Poo Pocket)

Well, it did fit Jaden well. The diaper was a snuggly fit for the baby's bottom and it does soaked up the pee rather well. Personally I don't really find the poo pocket working as well as how it claimed to be but I do not have much complains. Just that when the pee gets too much, it tends to sop out. The diaper does not really move much as the sticker sticks it well. I give it a 7.5/10.

2) Huggies DRY

The design of the diapers are bad. It looked as if the baby's thighs are so exposed and the private part might catch a cold. The M size is like S size so NO NO. BAD. The soaking up power, well, no complains but the design of the diaper just puts me off. I give it 4.5/10

3) SEALER Newborn / S / M / L

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. PERFECT FIT. PERFECT DESIGN. THEY SOAK THE PEE GOOD. THE POO DOES NOT GET SQUEEZED OUT EVEN WHEN BABY TER-POO A LOT. THE STICKERS ARE DOING A GREAT JOB. GREAT FOR ALL NIGHT LONG USE. Just that not many hypermarkets and baby stores carry them. So far, I could only find them at Baby Fair @ Midvalley, Babyland SS2 and Giant Hypermarkets. Sometimes the size that I want runs out and it takes a long while to wait for the shops to restock. I give it 9/10

4) EQ Dry.

Its value for money. Just that the stickers sometimes aint sticky, thus making me frustrated when baby is struggling and the sticker keeps popping up. The absorbency of the diaper can last for at least 4 hours before it feels heavy with pee. Its good and recommended for day use. I give it 7/10.

These are the four brands of diapers that I have tried for my baby. I dare not try Pampers because of some reviews about babies getting rashes. I head ScoobeeDry is good but Hubby says do not mend what is not broken. Both are us are just happy with Sealer so we shall stick by it.

Jaden has been showing us signs whenever he wants to poo and now I think its time Hubby and I can go invest in a potty for him. *sigh* My little baby is all grown up. We think Jaden is ready to be potty trained. YAY! Hopefully we will be done with diapers.

a week to celebrate ~

Hubby is currently now at Corus Hotel attending Si Peng's wedding dinner. Guess what? We both only found out about the wedding dinner last night. Apparently Si Peng had been trying to contact Hubby for quite some time but failed to get him and we have to resort to a call from Danny to inform us about the dinner. =)

Nope, mother and son is staying home because the son is not up to being a social butterfly. Not now.. not anytime soon either. His teething process is irritating the s**t outta him plus the weather is not doing us a favor either so, its best to stay home and coop in the air-conditioned room.

So allow me to wish Mr Hoo SI Peng and his new lovely wife CONGRATULATIONS!! Another one of Hubby's friend that tied the knot of commitment. Wonder who is next? This year so far, Hubby had attended 3 weddings. Thevi's, my sis's and Si Peng's. Last year alone was XY's, David's and Dannis's. Also 3.. inclusive of our own.. 4 weddings last year then... First come marriage, next come pregnancy. Waiting for these babies to pop out this year.. Sis's, Thevi's and Nai Yee's. Happy Happy News!!

Today, I cooked him sweet potatoes and carrot porridge. Scooped a medium scoop of porridge onto his bowl and he manage to finish till the last 3-4 mouthfuls. Well, at least he ate most of it so I am quite satisfied. The last few mouthfuls were wasted by Jaden blowing it all over me and the floor. *_* Think he like sweet and flavorful food. Maybe next, I shall try corn. Corn is sweet aint it?

Earlier during lunch, I fed him his banana rusk and he ended up getting one hell of a scolding from me for throwing tantrum. Miraculously he did not do that with me when I was feeding him his porridge. Now it really got me wondering if it was the presence of the father that made him think that he could behave badly and get away with it. With me alone, he would behave rather well. Think its the father! The father is too soft with him.

Yesterday I was telling Hubby how I really want to go do something about my appearance and he laughed it off. So without thinking, I immediately accused him of wanting me to look like what I look now so I won't go running outside so much. So that I wont dress up like how I used to do. That now my self confidence about my appearance is so low that it makes me just want to stay home and that is exactly what he wanted. See? Me = No thinking rationally = brainless accusations. BUT I do hope, maybe he will allow some changes *gRin* I NEED THEM!!!!

Happy Birthday Ma & Pa

My dearest Mom,

Today is your birthday and I am so sorry you have to go through it alone. I want to go back home badly to celebrate with you. To pamper you and make you feel like a queen although you are already a queen in my heart always. Alas. I am unable to travel back due to my son, whom very much needs his mum to be by his side to breastfeed him every hour. This I blame myself for not teaching him from young on how to drink breastmilk from bottle.

Mom,
I am sorry I haven't been much of a good daughter since I started working. I have not been going home regularly. We only communicate with each other through the phone and it is with much regret for me to just call you and wish you Happy Birthday today. I hope that you had a good day today, but I pray that all your next birthdays to come will be celebrated with me and my family.

I love you Mom and Happy Birthday once again... I would also like to wish you a Happy Mother's Day.

This year round, Dad would just have to fill in my space to celebrate with you. Next year round, we go do what mothers and daughters do best.

Lots of Love,
YH

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dearest Daddy,

Today is your birthday. You must be fast asleep right now but I will call you early in the morning later. I have not been really celebrating your birthdays with you for quite some time now. The last I remembered was when I was still a young little girl, I bugged Mother to help me buy chocolates for you as your present. The present somehow ended up in my tummy after that but it was the thought that counts right, daddy?

I have always been your little girl till I became quite a rebel when I reached my late teens. I dislike you for prying into my life. Now, I realize you only cared for me and you fear I stepped over to the dark side. Fear not daddy for it made me stronger and street smart. I fought against your will and ran out here to the city to pursue my education and career. I never did understood why you wanted me to stay behind at home. Now I understand but still daddy, I think I did the right thing tho, to come out here for my future undertakings. I cannot imagine myself staying back in our hometown. Sorry daddy but you know I love you.

I wonder how the three boys is spending your birthday with you but I hope they do it good. I hope that they love you as much as I do. Although I don't say it to your face now but I do really love you.

Happy Birthday Daddy! I hope you and mother will enjoy your birthday cupcakes I specially ordered for both of you.

Love,
YH

Hair-lemma

Okies.. I think I found the hairstyle I wanted.
Since my hair is as long as both these women, I thought I will have it cut like Chantal's (the blondie) and have it dyed like Tyra's since I am somewhere near her skin tone..

OR

Should I just leave it naturally black but have it cut/ rebond me hair just like them?

What do you think?

Would it work on me?

I really need a major makeover to boost up my self confidence. I think I lost it the day I gave birth...

but then again, some may say I have such a look before.. but I loved it..

My husband said my face is too square for such a hairstyle? Is he correct or should I just ignore his comments?

Milestones for the 7 month old

Jaden reached another milestone this week.

He prefers to sit supported in his bathtub while taking his bath now rather than me cradling him.
I still cradle him tho when it comes to shampooing him just to prevent the suds from entering his eyes.
He also love to play with his rubber duckie when he is bathing.

He can sit unsupported for a little while but hes still a lil too lazy to want to sit up. He prefers to lean on something / somebody or lie down so he can roll around. He has this tendency to use the strength of his head to make his turn faster, so each time he turns, he will land with a soft thud on the bed. Thankfully its the bed but what if somebody lets him roll around and hes not on the bed. I can only think of two things. *OUCH* and *CRY*

He loves his Mixed Vege Rice Cereals. He has been eating it without much resistant compared to his porridge. Tomorrow I think I shall cook him porridge with sweet potatoes this time and carrots. He aint liking pumpkin, which was sweet.. maybe the sweet potatoes might just be a hit with his taste buds then.

*spanked* and bawl

Today I discovered how to convey my message across to Jaden NOT TO BEHAVE LIKE A CATERPILLAR ON THE NAPPY CHANGING TABLE! As usual, there he was being impatient and caterpillar-ing around. So I spank his thighs. No effect. Spank a little harder.. still no effect. Then, I decided to spank his arms. Thats it la. He stopped to look at me and then with a upturn lip, he started bawling. So, it is the arms that conveys the message. *gRin*

When the father came back from buying lunch, I told him what happened. Without even thinking twice, he went and console the boy which made the boy bawled even louder. Should have just left him alone because he had stopped crying but at the very sight of the father, there he goes starting his waterworks.

So tell me, aren't they all smart to know who to bully and who not to bully? Who to manja with and can get away with it most of the time?

My boy sure knows how.

Cupcakes for my parents

Yay! I have just ordered cupcakes for my parents for their birthdays cum Mother's Day. Some of you will be wondering how is it possible that I am in KL and somewhat manage to order cupcakes and have them delivered to my house in Penang? Well.. I ordered them from i-love-cupcakes. They are going to get a surprise this weekend then. Yippee! Thank God for people like Angeleyes who stays in Penang and decided that this is one of the best ways to earn money. Afterall cupcakes are a hit now compared to normal cakes. Me think this is the first time my parents are exposed to cupcakes with customized designs. How I wish I can see those cute cupcakes for myself.

I almost forgot that today is one of my schoolmate's birthday. Luckily I smsed him before I slept off last night a Birthday wish message. If not, confirm sure emo kao kao! Speaking of Birthdays, today is also Jordan's birthday. Why on earth would I remember Jordan's birthday when he is Hubby's friend. I tell you why. It is because of his birthday I have got to give up free tickets to go see Stephanie Sun's concert in Genting in 2006. That is WHY I remembered!

That reminds me of Aunt Lin's birthday coming up too. *sigh* There is so much things happening on that day. If I am not mistaken, it is also Tommy's birthday and the gatherings of Hubby's SLUT gang at Shen's to celebrate Thevi's pregnancy and also Shen's new pad. Hmm.. Its a happening month !! Not to mention the final between Cardiff Ciry vs. Portsmouth. Yeap! I remember these dates well... sometimes remembering dates can be quite a curse, sometimes not.

Its been so hot lately that my house feels like an oven. I remember last year some time around these months when I was pregnant, it was even worse. When one is pregnant, one feels hotter than usual. I remember me cooping up in the room with the aircon blasts at the lowest temperature it could go. Now, its Jaden's turn to coop in the room because he is also afraid of heat. I can forsee the electric bill skyrocketing... =( Hubby will soon be scolding. *gRin*

I am in the mood to cook at the moment. So I guess I shall seize this moment that both the boys are sleeping and I shall do a little damage now. Wish me luck then! *wink*

Love at first sight? NAH!

I often wondered if I will ever get a boyfriend when I was a little girl. I started having crushes on boys as young as Std 2 but I didn't get one till I was late F4/F5.

I doubt my parents knew about my relationship then but I guess my father did suspect me. Back then, little things like love letters could blew me away. Little things would just made me feel so loved.. I would quickly bathe when I reached home at about 4pm and then run out to another apartment block and pat-toh at the stairway. Now, if I were to see kids do that, all I could do is shake my head and laugh and think its so stupid to hide but I once did it too.

I thought I found the one when I met him while I was holidaying with my mom and aunt. We hooked up and it lasted quite long. There were lots of happy and sad times shared between us but alas, he decided that he has so many girls out there going for him, why stick to me? So over some lame excuse of me being a prying eye, we broke up. Was feeling so devastated that I went on a fasting spree.. till I realized how stupid I was to do such thing. Already a skinny *bitch I was and to starve myself further, wouldn't it be suicidal? So I got my act together and started to eat healthy and tried to have a life of my own again out with my friends. To think about it now, I feel so stupid for feeling like that. But its all good, it made me stronger,

Then I met him who looked Jap-a-like only to find out hes from China. We got on fine with a few 'glitches' here and there but soon, he was just at my heels. Took me back to his hometown and well, his family really treated me like a princess. It was wonderful to spend time with his family but not him. Didn't take me long to figure out that he was not the one that I want to spend my lifetime with so I moved on...

and then I really thought he was the one. Turns out to be the shortest relationship I ever had. He was the typical sweet talker, charming guy who soon after loses interest. I suspect it may also be due to family poisoning if you know what I mean. I don't think the family approve of us much too so well, too bad. It was heartbreaking at first but then I realized that it might only be because of my ego..

A lot of people doubt our relationship. Some even jumped hearing about us. Some absolutely went on out to want to separate us. But when I got on with him, I knew exactly that I would, no matter what, not fear about unfaithfulness. There were so much trust in this relationship that I find it so comfortable. He has so much love to give. There were of course arguments and mean things thrown about but at the end of the day, I just knew that he was the one for me. Definitely him.. and true enough, we ended up together.. him-MY HUBBY... I am glad our path crossed. Its just that being with him, I always feel safe, protected, wanted, loved and loyalty.

So if my young cousins, friends who asked me how is it possible to know if hes the one? Well.. He is the one when you don't have to worry about him being unfaithful.. that his roving eyes and girls are the only thing on his mind. Men you meet in clubs are never a good thing. Knowing a person less than a week and getting on aint exactly a good idea also. My advice would be take your time...

My man? Well.. he is everything I would ask for.. just wishing that he lose that fiery temper at times...

Spanked!

Jaden not only resorted to sleeping on his side, sometimes he will turn to him tummy and sleep. Yesterday at about 5am when I suddenly woke up, a mother's instinct, I saw him rolling over to his tummy and he was clinging on to the little border Hubby and I made so Hubby won't sleep on him should Hubby turn to his right. Jaden clung on to the borderline, his head put 'manja-ly' on the border and slept that way till I gently got up and put him back onto his back. Hes been doing that much often now.. wonder if all babies go through it?

I noticed that hes been rather naughty when his father is around. He would whine and whine nonstop and sometimes even pretend to cry just to get our 100% attention. When he is alone with me, he is much more toned down and sometimes, play by himself and fall asleep without me to pat him to sleep. Guess he found out that he could bully his father. Even when Hubby raises his voice at Jaden, Jaden would retaliate either even whining louder or cry as if hes been abused. Sometimes I do spank him on his thigh. Well, I rather spank him than to see him fall down the nappy changing table. These days he has no patience for me to put the diaper on him. He would try to want to push himself out from the table or roll over. So you tell me, would you rather I spank him and let him lie there thinking what his mother just did to him or let him fall down and have a taste of pain? But of course I would not even let the latter happen. *sigh*
